I need to turn off this feature permanently. This audio enhancement has been making my audio pop. Every time I try to disable it, it re-enables itself. If I want it disabled, it should be disabled. My audio works fine when it is disabled.
Solved! Go to Solution.

I've read them all, thanks. The AC patch worked in my case.
Understand you must be somewhat frustrated, but don't interject. Necessary due diligence, especially when the poster is claiming disabling Enhanced Effects doesn't resolve the issue.

I don't think Bonjovi Acoustics is actually completely disabled even though it says off. When audio enhancements is on the popping goes up 1000 x more . The update did work for the optical connection but when I switch to USB audio through my speakers (which has a more high end dac) the popping and clicking comes back.
Please finish the job Asus .. remove Bonjovi from USB audio too!

Thanks for confirming. Not experiencing any issues with the DT770 Pro 80OHM since the last update. Customer service is monitoring the situation, I'll see where we're at with it. In the meantime if you haven't done so already, list full system info.

That's a significant amount of memory. Are you running it at Optimised Defaults (No XMP/Overclocking)?
Can you also list audio devices, thanks.

With XMP 5200 mhz , but even at stock it makes no difference I'm afraid. Its perfectly stable on XMP. The audio device is LSX II.

Thanks again for confirming the issue is still present at stock (no XMP). If you feel inclined, I would still be tempted to test with 2 modules (A2 / B2) or even one module in A2 to rule things out. I suspect it won't make a difference, but when it comes to signalling interference it pays to test these things.

Look, I am trying to help. I thought it was rude for you to speak to me in that way considering I have the same issue and this is an open forum. Not a one on one. It isn’t signal interference imho, as the issue can sometimes be resolved temporarily by swapping audio Hz via windows, and the crackling will often only be heard at very specific lower end sound frequencies. The likelihood of multiple users experiencing the same RAM issues as well isn’t great. I have 64GB ram via two modules, for reference. If you’re able to provide any other recommendations, I’m open to that. Some others have said the issue resolves itself without Armoury Crate installed, but I can’t confirm myself. Have tried multiple audio drivers for each device, which also hasn’t worked. Quite strange. I also suspect the background Bongiovi stuff, or Sonic Studio. Didn’t have any issues using the previous Mobo without Bongiovi stuff using the same parts otherwise.
