I need to turn off this feature permanently. This audio enhancement has been making my audio pop. Every time I try to disable it, it re-enables itself. If I want it disabled, it should be disabled. My audio works fine when it is disabled.

Seems on my end there’s a bit more going on than just audio static when Bongiovi drivers are present? Is there a possibility they’re also clashing with the Focusrite scarlet solo drivers?

Have you tried using revo uninstaller and then reinstalling gpu drivers?

Just reinstalled drivers will see what happens.

If you, or anyone figures this out, lmk. After update, popping still occurs. I’m also using a focusrite for my mic. Never had issues with those drivers before. Currently using Schiit Stack for main audio.

I changed from optical to USB audio and I still get crackling and popping when watching videos and clicking windows volume up and down. Very annoying ASUS please fix I have audio enhancements turned off.

Mhm. All audio coming from my build regardless of source crackles at certain frequencies, from my desk speakers, to my headphones connected via Amp/Dac. The dynamic range is also really wonky in games. Quiet sounds are too quiet, while loud sounds are too loud. I’m updated in terms of every patch they’ve released on Armoury Crate. Audio Enhancements are off. This Dark Hero motherboard has been a total headache.

Well count me in on this one. Got a X570 dark hero, a Delta S Animate and a Delta S Wireless and for some times now, I got a lot of crackling and popping happening when watching youtube or playing light game or heavy game, its all random and can't find any way to reproduce it everytime. It's a nightmaren I'm using an old astro A50 and it's working great. All audio that are Asus related seems broken as of right now

@asus , can you please look into this ? My USB audio with Bonjovi Acoustics with audio enhancements apparently off is still popping . Which leads me to believe Bonjovi is still not fully disabled. Why can't you just remove it completely??

Have you checked DPC latency with a tool such as Latency Mon to see if it detects anything untoward/unrelated?
Is this since swapping to Optical?

I’m not the user you replied to, though you should go through and read actual earlier posts here. It isn’t anything unrelated. Many, many users have been having issues with the audio on this board. ASUS has released a few patches via Armory Crate in an attempt to fix the issue, but to no avail.
