Bongiovi Acoustics/audio enhancements causes problems

I need to turn off this feature permanently. This audio enhancement has been making my audio pop. Every time I try to disable it, it re-enables itself. If I want it disabled, it should be disabled. My audio works fine when it is disabled.

my audio has been working purfectly since yesterday, lower buffer rates, higher sample rates. I've also tried using bongiovi without nvidia HD audio. my lag issues were gone but sound issues remained. having both causes youtube videos to freeze and lag for example. fully deleting bongiovi's drivers fixed all of these issues. @Aureliannn_ROG

-my rog fusion ii 500 is having issues too. changing the bass slider does nothing for one thing.

-my rog fusion ii 500 is having issues too. the bass boost slider doesn't work at all and the reverb effects don't work either. come on asus.

Simplified:
-Asus will outperform others on some products(No one can be the best).
-Asus needs to work on their support.
-Make sure your drivers are compatible with your motherboard.
-Do your research, and don't hesitate to ask for help.
As spoonyrogdrump1 would say after being so helpful. "Your welcome."

I am one of those folks not using ROG headphones. I can tell you that I took the advice of @spoonyrogdrump1 and used Driver Store Explorer to completely remove both Bongiovi drivers from my machine. After a reboot the default sound driver became Microsoft v10.22621.1, and it has worked *flawlessly* since. No issues with bad sound or the Audio Enhancement default issue at all (in fact Audio Enhancement isn't even an option now).

The popping sound gets really bad during games.

Games so far of the top of my head that have major sound popping issues are Battlebit and Crusader King 3,

I installed the update, and pretty much right off the bat my lag issues started to happen again. the update reinstalled the bongiovi drivers. I removed them again. Lag issues stopped. (it causes my system to lag, like youtube videos freezing etc. audio will randomly drop out and have static, my microphone also has random static)

I have an i9 14900kf and rtx 4090 with z790-f gaming wifi 2

I just updated and loaded up Battlebit 3 separate times and not a single pop . (usually it pops and crackles like crazy)

So far so good , will do some further testing but something has definitely changed!!

Also I had a creative soundcard and it was never detected by the motherboard but now it is. So very happy about that too.

Hi! I’ve actually still got the random audio popping issues in some games/applications. The update didn’t really do much aside from allowing me to disable audio enhancements, which is great. But, I suspect something is still going on with the Bongiovi stuff/passthru app in the background. Audio popping occurs on both my DAC setup, and my AudioEngine desk speaker.
