Bongiovi Acoustics/audio enhancements causes problems

I need to turn off this feature permanently. This audio enhancement has been making my audio pop. Every time I try to disable it, it re-enables itself. If I want it disabled, it should be disabled. My audio works fine when it is disabled.

I am continually encountering the problem of the Audio Enhancements setting restring itself to the Default setting.

The current version of the Bongiovi Acoustics driver is 1.0.0.4 dated 9/14/2023

Motherboard is the Asus Z790-E ROG STRIX Gaming Wifi II Intel LGA 1700 ATX

I do not have headphones connected, but rather a RODECaster Pro II sound board via USB-C

my rog fusion ii 500 is having issues too.  the bass boost slider doesn't work at all and the reverb effects don't work either.  come on asus

I also have the same problem with my rog delta s contacted with the live chat support twice. The rog delta s on the device manager has no name on the registry/licence its just blank its supposed to be an ESS audio or something like that i believe but its not. I made the firmware update on the 04.01.2023 from the armoury crate but know after the firmware update it became something like bongiovi acoustics. Also after the update on the armoury crate no matter what i change in the armoury crate app the equalizer the virtual surround the reverb it does not make any effect on the headset nothing changes no matter what i do on the armoury crate app. I'm 100% sure the problem is not with the headset nor with the pc. I uninstalled everything with the armoury create uninstaller and made a clean reinstall, i completely deleted my entire realted drivers and nvidia audio drivers with ddu and made a clean installation, I used both usb A and usb C ports with different slots on the pc just to check if the ports are damaged or anything, i even changed my os from windows 10 to windows 11 thinking maybe its the reason but nothing changed the same problem continues im definitely sure that the error is happening because of the registry/licence of the drivers latest update because its not compatible on some level with armoury crate. Also on an another not the dolby access on my laptop did not recognize the asus rog delta s headset after the firmware update i made on the armoury crate told me to plug a device that is registered on the dolby access program. Just to clarify the problem is not caused by the armoury crate, i am sure it is caused by the headset firmware update "in" the armoury crate program. Please do check the latest update and fix this as soon as possible or release the previous version back. and please do check the screenshots i attached

Rog Delta S user, same issue here.

I pressed the update and the sound is completely broken since then. None of the options in the Armoury Crate work at all. NONE. Changing profiles, adjusting sound optimization or equalizer etc does nothing.

I downloaded external software from Steelseries and it seems to be somewhat working but the sound is still compressed and terrible as if something else was breaking it. The headset is basically unusable at this point.

Its a critical failure of the functionality of the software and the product, idk your procedures but this kind of issues should be SLA and fixed ASAP - it should take a few hours to fix, at most a DAY, a single day. Not a month, not a week, but A DAY.

 I am having the same problem someone please kill this stupid bongiovi acoustics render effects driver. Nobody wants it on it just sounds horrible yet it refuses to turn off.

Brand new build this week, and I'm getting the same problem: Audio Enhancements keep re-enabling Device Default Effects even when I've disabled them.

Hardware:
Asus Z790-E ROG STRIX Gaming Wifi II Intel LGA 1700 ATX board
RODECaster Pro II Main Speakers connected via USB-C

This is super-frustrating, and there is seemingly no solution.
