I need to turn off this feature permanently. This audio enhancement has been making my audio pop. Every time I try to disable it, it re-enables itself. If I want it disabled, it should be disabled. My audio works fine when it is disabled.

This probably fixed my issue. First, uninstall anything that relates to Bongiovi. THE NEXT STEP IS TO MAKE SURE YOU BACK UP THIS FOLDER JUST IN CASE SOMETHING GOES WRONG/CREATE A RESTORE POINT. After that, go to your system32 files and look for Bongiovi(Need to ensure hidden files are checked). Make sure you are the owner of that folder. Rename both the folder and the .dll file to anything. Please restart your computer and then delete the folder. After I've done this, I haven't had any pops in the past day. Going to the sound mixer will finally show any audio enhancements/spatial sounds are off!
Another thing is if you run sfc /scannow or dism in cmd, it might reinstall the .dll file back, so you will have to repeat those steps. This is a temporary fix, but it works. I grew tired of the pops and just went ahead and did this, and finally, the pops are gone, and they haven't shown up within 24 hours of posting this. I pretty much had to figure out a temporary solution on my own, but a solution is a solution that should have taken ASUS to do in seconds. This is not rocket science. Any support by ASUS is terrible. I always leaned towards ASUS because they make most of the best tech. For the end-of-the-year upgrade, I might lean towards something else. They better get their "s***" together.

Hi @LEGENDKMS
based on your issue, could you please confirm the product model where the issue is occurring?
Regarding Bongiovi Acoustics, where do you go to enable or disable it?
Could you provide a screenshot if possible?
Does the audio distortion issue occur whenever Bongiovi Acoustics is enabled, affecting all sounds?
Have you ensured that your audio drivers are updated to the latest version?
When does the issue occur, and have you made any updates or changes to settings recently?
Additionally, could you provide the model of the device you are currently using and the driver version?
Thank you.

I am also facing the same issue, I have a usb connected sound bar. When connected the sound enhancement for Bongiovi acoustic render effects is automatically paired to that sound bar. It causes audio poping issues when any sound is present. Like the OP I tried to disable it, however, I am unable to disable it permanently as when the window is closed the setting is re-enabled.
We are seeking a way to permanently remove this Bongiovi acoustic render effects once and for all.

Hi @LEGENDKMS @pikoman121 ,
based on your issue, could you please confirm if selecting your headphones device in the sound settings and choosing the Bongiovi Acoustics Effect causes audio issues?
Could you provide a screenshot similar to the one below for our reference?
Also, please provide the model of the headphones you are currently using.
We will look into the issue for you. Thank you.

Z790 Apex Encore. What I go to turn on/off is through audio enhancements and sound/playback settings. Every time I tried to disable it, it would re-enable itself. Bongiovi acoustics is the problem. The other z790 board I had also had the same problem. Everything is up to date. The driver version is 1.0.0.4. My headset is a Sennheiser HD820. These audio pops are aggravating me.

Have you encountered issues with headphones not being adjustable in Armoury Crate and experiencing audio problems after an update?
Which specific item did you update before the problem occurred?
Did you use the Armoury Crate "uninstall tool" to uninstall and reinstall the software?
Is the headphone firmware updated to the latest version?
Could you please assist by providing screenshots of the Armoury Crate Update Center page and logs for reference by the backend team?
For log operation steps, please refer to Q5: What is App Diagnostics? (New Feature)
https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1043747/#a14
After recording the log, please upload it to the cloud, approve access, and PM me the link along with the product serial number.
If possible, kindly record a video demonstrating the issue of headphones not being adjustable in Armoury Crate.
Thank you.

Finally someone,
Yes after the upgrade on the 4th january it broke the headset can not be adjusted in the app and some Bongiovi Acoustics crap made it even worse when i switched on the audio enhancements.
I honestly do not remember what i was updated but i can say again it was the january 4th update whatever that was
Yes i used armoury crate uninstall tool multiple times made clean installs even formatted my laptop entirely switched from windows 10 to 11 again get the same results then again formatted back again to windows 10
Yes it was updated to the latest one which is the broken unusable one then we figured out that using the complete armoury crate pack to install the armoury crate but not updating the headset to the latest broken update so thats why right now i do not have the latest update
And unfortunately no i can not give you any logs because i formatted my pc downloaded the armoury crate but did not updated the rog delta s so there are no logs because i want to play in my free time not suffer because of a broken update
All i can provide you here is the old screenshots i already posted
Another note id like to add the dolby atmos is also not working not effecting the headset and in one instance it did not even see the headset and said that i need to plug in a dolby atmos device and armoury crate is also not acknowledging the device so my theory is that the latest update changed the headsets' (delta, delta animate, delta s, fusion etc...) registry in the device manager normally it seems as a usb device or generic usb device i think i don't remember but when i did the update it showed as nothing just a blank registry maybe thats why
all i can suggest and provide as information is that you pick up a delta s or a headset of asus download the armoury crate and update the entire app and the headset completely and see for yourself. check the device manager click on rog delta s, click on driver update the driver, click on browse my computer for drivers, click on let me pick from the list and there you will see the unnamed blank driver licence/registry/certificate
