I need to turn off this feature permanently. This audio enhancement has been making my audio pop. Every time I try to disable it, it re-enables itself. If I want it disabled, it should be disabled. My audio works fine when it is disabled.

I just built a brand new machine using ROG Maximus Z790 Dark hero with i9-14900K, 192 GB RAM and TUF Gaming RTX 4090 OC nVidia card.
I installed every driver staying disconnected from the internet. The moment I connected to internet, Armory Crate installed itself and the first thing it installed are these Bongiovi Acoustics Audio Enhancements drivers version 1.0.0.48
How do I test if I have an issue and where exactly do you see these Audio Enhancements like Sound or Mixer Settings or Realtek Audio Console etc.?

I have had nothing but problems with audio on my Z790 Apex Encore also. I use the analog outputs only. This bongiovi is strange, can't get rid of it here either. No idea where it came from or why it keeps reappearing. The audio drivers are missing some basic functions as well, like the equalizer. Seems every new generation of the SupremeFX audio gets worse. I still don't get what the giant DTS thing is, seems to do nothing and offers nothing. Ohh and despite removing or disabling bongiovi, there is a huge pop from the audio with each boot. I've tried moving around USB devices and booting without any USB connected, still pops. Think there are some glaring issues here with the audio drivers.

I came here looking for a solution and the person who recommended using the driver store app from github WORKED. I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to say the ISSUE IS STILL THERE. I have a logitech pro x wireless headset and I completely lost surround sound. I only happened to notice the bongi (whatever it is) when I went to do a system restore to correct the problem. I looked at "affected programs" before the THIRD restore and saw it there as an "audio" something or other. So I started to research which led me here. The choosen solution for this thread is not the correct one. The one about using the driver store is.
I have a Z790 Apex Encore with the above mentioned headset. All drivers are up-to-date on my motherboard. Deleting those two drivers in driver store and rebooting brought my surround sound back to my headset!

@outlaw78 I am having issues with my microphone volume and the pops as soon as the Microphone is put into recording mode. See https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/gaming-motherboards/re-rog-maximus-z790-dark-hero-low-microphone-volum... with my issues and steps I have taken so far which has not fixed the problem for me including uninstalling Bongiovi Drivers.
If you have uninstalled Bongiovi drivers and are still having issues, please check if you see C:\Windows\System32\Bongiovi\MB\BongioviAPO.dll file on your machine. If you do, can you delete this file or you get an error that this file is in use by audiodg.exe process. Or something like the file is in use error.
If you get any of these errors then it means, the uninstallation was not successful, as was the case for me and I had to go to extreme lengths trying to cleanup my registry manually.

This issue needs to be elevated to develop a patch. Here is why:
I am pretty sure that this is supposed to be paired with the Bongiovi DPS software (or something like that to secondarily control output)
which is at End of Life (E.O.L). See: https://bongiovidps.com/support/
Furthermore if current integration is an issue the SDK can be found at:
https://sdk.bongiovidps.com/realtek-platforms/ as that is the chipset you are using.
I keep getting a random POP as well as really bad distortion on any Bluetooth headset I try. After searching everywhere for a solution and finding none i found this high impact startup service named RoutingService supplied by Bongiovi Acoustics this company boasts that is one of ASUS's suppliers as well https://bongiovidps.com/ . This also appears to not have been updated since 2018.
