LoisLbs

Hi,

I have an headphone ASUS ROG STRIX GO BT. It works quite well except when I turn off the mic, i have 2 VERY annoying beeps every minutes. I didn't find any real solution on forum or any options in armoury crate. Can you help me please?

Also, I wanted to register my product on asus website to have help, and cannot find any SN on the headphone while I have Model / FCC / IC but not SN....

Thank you very much.

Hi @LoisLbs ,

according to the issue you encountered, our backend team has confirmed that the beep sound occurs when the microphone function is deactivated.

It is intended to inform users that the mic is currently in a mute state. This is primarily to assist users during communication software usage, as they may not be able to see the indicator light. It provides an additional way to indicate the mic mute status.

Regarding the product serial number, please check inside the ear cup as there should be a sticker with the SN on the ear shell.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hi @LoisLbs ,

according to your question, may I ask if you have confirmed that your headphone firmware is updated to the latest version?

Have you checked if the headphone has sufficient battery power? When did the issue start occurring?

Does the sound issue happen when you are using Bluetooth pairing? Does the issue occur when using a wired connection?

Regarding the SN (Serial Number) issue, please refer to the link below to find the SN.

Thank you.

Thank you, heres your answers :

- According to devices manager, my heapdhone and microphone drivers are updated

- According to Armoury Crate software my "ASUS ROG STRIX GO BT" is updated.

- The issue always occured since I bought the headphone

- My headphone has enough battery

- The 2 beeps every minutes are occuring when my headphone are bluetooth paired and when I muted my micro (clicking the middle of the volume button on the headphone).

- I tested using wire connection (I usually never use this). In wire connection, I can hear music but my micro doesnt seem to work and when I clicked on mute micro I dont hear voice telling me "Microphone off" as I use to hear. It doesnt seem to be activated in this connection mode.

- Regarding the SN, I have already see this link but you can see in the picture attached that I dont have any SN on it : PXL_20240520_140848889.jpg

Thank you for your quick help.

Hi @LoisLbs ,

if you cannot find the product serial number in the product itself, could you please check if there is a product serial number on the box or warranty card? Please help us confirm.

Additionally, regarding the issue of the headphones producing abnormal sounds, could you please assist us by providing a video of the sound issue occurring for our reference?

Thank you.

With the following link, you ll find a video with my sound issue. I put the headphone on, then mute mic and you can hear beeps at 1:18 and 2:18.

I bought the product some time ago, so I no longer have the original package. Howerever, I still have the headphone storage bag but I can't find the warranty card. I guess I could not register my product now, it is just a shame not having the serial number on the headphone itself.. 😕

I see the utility of the beeps but I found these very loud compared to other sound and really annoying. It would have been great to have the possibility to disable this option or choose the volume in armoury crate software for example but I understand it is not possible. Thank you anyway for yours answers !

And for the serial number, you re right, it is behind the ear shell !
