1/4 update for Rog Delta S fried the headsets audio

Herls
Level 8

Using a wired Delta S headset. The update on 1/4 completely fried all audio. The audio is now flat, toneless, and making changes in Armory Crate does nothing. The headset is failing to register with the computer, clean reinstalls of Armory Crate, drivers, and even Windows have done nothing to fix it. More information can be found in another users post who is having the same exact issue, here

Hi @Herls ,

Have you encountered issues with headphones not being adjustable in Armoury Crate and experiencing audio problems after an update?

Which specific item did you update before the problem occurred?

Did you use the Armoury Crate "uninstall tool" to uninstall and reinstall the software?

Is the headphone firmware updated to the latest version?

Could you please assist by providing screenshots of the Armoury Crate Update Center page and logs for reference by the backend team?

For log operation steps, please refer to Q5: What is App Diagnostics? (New Feature)
https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1043747/#a14

After recording the log, please upload it to the cloud, approve access, and PM me the link along with the product serial number.

If possible, kindly record a video demonstrating the issue of headphones not being adjustable in Armoury Crate.

Thank you.

Providing detailed device specifications (MB/CPU/GPU/PSU, etc.) and the respective driver versions, OS version, and BIOS version will help us analyze the issue more effectively.

Hi @Herls ,

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
After careful verification by the backend team, the team plan to release a new version of Audio SDK v3.01.19 within this week to address the current issues.
To prevent more users from encountering the same problems after updating, the team have temporarily removed the old version of Audio SDK v3.01.17.
During this period, you can choose to reinstall Armoury Crate or patiently wait for the new version to be available for update later this week.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding and patience.

Providing detailed device specifications (MB/CPU/GPU/PSU, etc.) and the respective driver versions, OS version, and BIOS version will help us analyze the issue more effectively.
