Hi, I received my ROG KERIS II ACE yesterday, and I have a problem with the Omni receiver which gives the error S-1000.
On the other hand, the Omni reciver of the ROG STRIX SCOPE II 96 Wireless works perfectly well and I was able to synchronize the ROG KERIS with it.
Here is what I tried (also restarting my PC):
- uninstall all receiver Omni, keyboard and mouse drivers;
- uninstall/reinstall Armory Crate;
- update drivers;
Someone can help me ?
[EDIT]
I have just unsuccessfully tried to install Armory Crate and tried to use the problematic OMNI receiver, with a PC that has never used these devices.
In fact, it detects it in the firmware to be updated, but the receiver does not appear in the devices

Hello qq_dx
I believe the ROG Harpe Ace Extreme needs an update to fully show in Armoury Crate as mine doesn't show in the Device list or the ROG Omni Receiver page.
Mine is working fine, just no control yet with Armoury Crate.

Hello erloup
Have you updated the firmware?
1) Unpair the Keris II Ace from the Scope II 96 Wireless Omni Receiver by clicking the X.
2) Connect the Keris II Ace wireless dongle to a pc usb port, make sure it's paired and working.
3) Connect the charging cable to your Keris II Ace and a pc usb port.
4) Set the wireless switch on the bottom of the mouse to wired mode (switch set to the center position).
5) Try the firmware update in Armoury Crate.

Hi,
I just tried, unfortunately I still get the same error code (S-1000) when I try to access the OMNI RECEIVER device.

Ok, so you've updated the ROG Keris II Ace to the ROG Omni Receiver, you're just getting an error.
Try checking for updates in Armoury Crate. If it doesn't find any, then I'll suggest to uninstall and reinstall Armoury Crate.
1) Make sure your ROG Keris II Ace is connected to its own ROG Omni Receiver (wireless dongle) and working.
2) Uninstall Armoury Crate from windows.
3) Reboot your pc.
4) Connect the charging cable to your ROG Keris II Ace and a pc usb port.
5) Set the wireless switch on the bottom of the mouse to wired mode (switch set to the center position).
6) Connect the wireless dongle to a pc usb port (should be already done).
7) Install Armoury Crate version 3.2.11.2 - Armoury Crate - Support (asus.com)
8: Go to the Armoury Crate update center and check for updates.
Once updated, you can unpair it and pair it to any ROG Omni Receiver. I have my ROG Keris II Ace paired with the ROG Falchion RX Low profile and all is working well.

Unfortunately, that's not possible.
When I received my ROG Keris II Ace, I tried to connect its dongle to my PC and set it to wireless mode. However, it didn't work, the cursor wouldn't move, the mouse settings were inaccessible, and the dongle settings gave me the S-1000 error.
Then, I tried pairing the mouse with the dongle from my ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless because I have access to the settings for that second dongle. After pairing, the mouse works with it, and I can access its settings. However, the original dongle from the Keris II still doesn't work.
Even when I unpair the mouse from the functional keyboard dongle, I'm unable to pair the Keris II with its original OMNI RECEIVER because I can't access the settings for that dongle (S-1000 error).
I also tried uninstalling Armoury Crate, but when I plug in the Keris dongle, it never appears in the list of available devices, and the Keris II doesn't work in wireless mode, though it does work in wired mode. However, once I plug in the functional Strix Scope dongle, the Keris dongle is detected when I connect it, but I still can't access the dongle's settings (S-1000 error).
Of course, I never plug in both dongles at the same time.

Ok,
1) Unpair your ROG Keris II Ace from the Strix Scope II 96 Wireless Omni Receiver, if paired.
2) Connect the Keris II Ace wireless dongle to a pc usb port.
3) Set the wireless switch on the bottom of the mouse to 2.4GHz wireless mode.
4) Press and hold the pair button (circled red) on the bottom of the mouse for 5 seconds, the scroll wheel should flash green.
Push the wireless switch down for 2.4GHz wireless mode, up is bluetooth.
Does this get it connected to its own wireless dongle and working?

No, the scroll wheel keeps flashing green, without ever connecting to its own wireless dongle.
