Omni receiver cannot catch any keyboard inputs in grub interface

Hello

I have keyboard Azoth and Mouse Ace. Before upgrade the firmware of my keyboard to support omni, the keyboard can work well in grub interface where I can select which OS I want to entry. After the firmware update and I connected my ACE to the same 2.4G receiver, I cannot do any input in grub inerface. But after booting and I see the GUI no matter windws or Linux, the receiver works well and both devices signals can be captured by the only receiver.

I tried to change change my grub config with adding

usbhid.quirks=0x0b05:0x1ace:0x0020

Actually I tried 0x0020 and 0x0004. Both not working.

Please do an update for Omni or I can downgrade my azoth firmware. Otherwise it is really annoying to connect with wire to use my keyboard to switch OS.

Hi

Thank you for the reply.

I bought X870 and built a new pc instead of laptop. I was concerning if things becoming more complecated. But actually it works totally fine wit new PC. I can do selection in GRUB interface and even entry the bios with 2.4G receiver connected to two devices. No lagging and everything is working smoothly. It could be some hardware issues? I was using Alienware laptop.

But anyway this is no longer an issue. So I would close the ticket.

Maybe more information.

1. I cannot entry the bios with receiver.

2. When I am in bios interface, the mouse is lagging so so much, it works every 2 or 1 second. Just like the keyboard and Mouse were asking one by one.

I have also Logitech Mouse and keyboard. When I connect them with one receiver. They are working well in grub interface and in bios, no lagging. But I cannot entry bios with F12. This is same like Asus.

So I am sure this is a defect of Omni design. I dont want to do comparison. I just want to downgrade the firmware to use my keyboard do a full control in grub interface and use another receiver to connect my mouse. That's all.
