Can't download Device firmware for Strix Scope II 96 wireless keyboard

I downloaded the armoury crate and went into the update center. I have downloaded every update but I can't get the device firmware for my Rog Strix Scope II 96 wireless. I have my USB wire connected to my keyboard and have the 2.4GHZ receiver plugged in. I have it set to wire/off mode. The update won't run.

Hi @JimFlav

It may be necessary to reboot the system if you've conducted a series of other updates prior to updating the keyboard or receiver firmware.
Can you attempt this? If no success, please upload a screenshot of the error displayed.

I don't get an error message. I have found after reading some other posts on here that my receiver doesn't show up in my armoury crate when on bluetooth. So the rog omni receiver dosn't show on my device page.

Hi @JimFlav ,

to use the ROG Omni Receiver, you need to set the connection switch to RF 2.4GHz mode.

Please refer to the link below for detailed pairing steps.

Thank you.

Providing detailed device specifications (MB/CPU/GPU/PSU, etc.) and the respective driver versions, OS version, and BIOS version will help us analyze the issue more effectively.

I tried following the guide. When I plug in the receiver it doesn't show up on the device menu. All I get is ROG Strix Scope II 96 wireless(which is the the wire connection) and Macros. The ROG Omni receiver never shows.

So when I use a part that came with the keyboard and plug the receiver into that and then plug the USB cord into the other side and go into the update center it says that my Omni receiver was updated 6/27/24. If I plug the receiver into the back of my PC it doesn't show up in the update center or on the device menu.

I was able to get the Omni Receiver to connect and show up on the device menu. I then went to the update center and am able to run the update. I gets to the installation. I then get a  red triangle next to the update button with an error code 4181.

I restarted my PC. I was able to get both connected but then I would try and use my keyboard wired connected and it won't work after I connect the Omni receiver. I can only use it on the 2.4ghz mode or bluetooth. I have to restart my PC to re-establish the connect through a wire connection. When I do this the Omni receiver in my bluetooth settings on my PC says the receiver has a driver error

Here are some error messages I have gotten.

Hi @JimFlav

What happens if you simply try to unpair the keyboard from the receiver, is there any change?
