Since the introduction of Windows Dynamic Lighting (WDL), some people may be wondering how to keep Armoury Crate as the main application for controlling the lighting in supported devices. Here's how.
Mouse right-click on the desktop, then select Personalize
Go to Personalization > Dynamic Lighting
Follow the 3 simple steps above, and you're set! Now you have full control over the lighting from Armoury Crate.
If the device is still undetected by Aura Sync or greyed out, replug the device's receiver in a different USB port and wait a few seconds. Double check Window's Dynamic Lighting settings to see if Armoury Crate is still given top priority, just as you have done in the previous steps.
If so, perform a full power cycle by turning off the PC, unplugging the power cable, replugging the power cable, and turning on your PC again.
If not, it means Windows is defaulting priority for WDL, which is why Aura Sync cannot take control of your device lighting.
I dont see Armoury Crate in the list... it is installed though.
I can see the Armoury Crate in the list, but instead of ROG STRIX SCOPE II, I see ROG OMNI RECEIVER in the device list and I am unable to chcek the check box in the in Armoury Crate for the the ROG STRIX SCOPE II.
