[Wireless Router] Why am I unable to use my mobile hotspot connection properly? (RT-AX50 Go)
If you find that your RT-AX50 Go is not functioning correctly when using USB tethering, please refer to the following possible reasons and solutions.
Possible Reasons:
- Insufficient Power Supply: If the charger or power bank does not support the standard Power Delivery (PD) protocol, your device may not receive enough power to maintain a stable hotspot connection.
- USB Cable Issue: If USB tethering is not functioning properly, the USB cable may be faulty or incompatible.
Solutions:
1. Use a Compatible Charger: Make sure you are using a charger or power bank that supports the standard Power Delivery (PD) protocol.
2. Change the USB Cable: Try using a different USB cable and attempt the setup again.
