What is the warranty period offered by ASUS for its commercial computers, and how long does ASUS provide security, corrective, and functionality updates to the operating system for its commercial computer products?
ASUS hereby confirms its compliance with the following warranty requirements:
- Warranty Period: ASUS offers a maximum available warranty of five (5) years on its products, with at least one (1) year provided free of charge to the customer.
- Additional Warranty Terms: Each additional year of warranty not included free of charge is available for purchase at a cost not exceeding fifteen percent (15%) of the product's MSRP. These additional warranty years are available for purchase concurrently with the product, with the minimum purchasable extended period being one (1) year.
ASUS guarantees the availability of free-of-charge security updates, corrective updates, and functionality updates to the operating system for at least five (5) years following the end of the product's placement on the market, in line with the recommendation and support timeline set by the operating system vendor. In the final year of this period, ASUS will publicly commit to delivering updates based on the information and guidance provided by the operating system vendor accordingly. This commitment reflects our dedication to maintaining the security and functionality of our computers over an extended period.
