hello. I have bought the ASUS ROG Strix b450-F Gaming 2 motherboard and want to update the chipset and other drivers.

1. AMD Chipset driver V3.10.22.706 for Windows 10 64-bit, Windows 11 64-bit.(WHQL) it says to remove the old chipset but i can't find anything online about how to do that...

2. AMD Graphics Driver V30.0.13014.8 for Windows 10 64-bit, Windows 11 64-bit.(WHQL) The internet says to uninstall using device manager which I went there and the only driver that is populated is the NVIDIA driver for my dedicated graphics. Does this mean I don't need to update the Graphics drivers?

With the Chipset I can see that being more of a task How do you remove the old Chipset to begin the new install?

Bing search :

  • Open Device Manager.
  • Right-click on the driver name and choose “Uninstall device”.
  • Check the checkbox “Delete drivers software for this device” in the confirmation prompt.
  • Once you have removed the old drivers, you can then proceed to download and install the new version
