A few days ago I downloaded and installed version 1703. Now I see that they put the BIOS version 1602 back in.

I should follow up on this, because they don't say anything about why they removed BIOS 1703, then they say that it's the user's fault for not using the PC properly, seeing that they test on the fly with the components of all the users that they buy with poorly optimized software and so on.
How sad to have TOP OF THE RANGE products that fail because of the same CREATOR.

Hello! Yes, it looks like they were in a hurry! After installing Bios 1703, my CyberGrid backlight became very slow. I wanted to complain to Asus.
How about you with this backlight, if not synchronized?

I have the Armory Crate illuminated monitor background disabled, it is very unstable.

Same here. We already update this non beta version of 1703.  Hope they have a good statement for this and there is nothing strange that can affect life of part.

We will wait for the release of a new release.

What I do notice is strange is that it takes a long time to open, sometimes Notepad++ is very often left there as if loading, where the file does not weigh anything. I don't know if this is the fault of BIOS 1703.

I did not notice any changes in the operation of the computer and programs. Everything is ok.

Item 2 was earlier in the description of beta 1602?   In version 1703 it was definitely.

1704 is out now for certain regions (e.g., UK, Japan, Hong Kong, Philippines).

It looks like they pushed another LED firmware update with 1704. I don't know for sure if that is the only change and is part of the change(s), since ASUS has been absolutely quiet on this issue. Quite frustrating if I am being honest.

Thanks for the links!
Updated to 1704, the backlight returned to its previous form. Everything is fine now!
