Hi,

In order to avoid drivers conflict, I do not advise you to install the drivers from Windows Update - Optional updates if you don't know exactly what you are doing :

MoKiChU_0-1733856655335.png

These (or any Intel Chipset Drivers from Windows Update - Optional updates) mustn't be installed to avoid Intel Chipset Drivers conflicts :

From Intel : Intel(R) Chipset Device Software uses an unusual date for the devices it is targeting. The date 07/18/1968 is symbolic - Intel was founded that day.

The Intel Chipset Drivers installed from the Intel .exe installer are from this date, while the Intel Chipset Drivers installed from Windows Update - Optional updates are not from this date in your DriverStore (use Driver Store Explorer to check that in System devices category).

I you already installed it, follow this process to cleanup :

- Uninstall your current Intel Chipset Drivers package (via Start > Settings > Apps) then restart your PC.
- Launch Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator) > Check the boxes of all versions of Intel drivers which .inf contains system word in the System device category.
- Check the box "Force Deletion" then click on the "Delete Driver(s)" button then restart your PC.
- Install the last Intel Chipset Drivers package from your motherboard support page (but you can find a more recent version in my thread below).

These one are fine, these are your Intel Serial IO Drivers (but you can find a more recent version in my thread below).

You need these drivers/firmware for your ASUS ROG Strix Z390-F Gaming motherboard (you don't need Intel iGPU Drivers if you disabled/don't enabled it in your BIOS) :

[DRIVERS] Intel Chipset/MEI/SATA/Serial IO/GNA (1xx/2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx)

Intel Chipset Drivers

- Intel MEI Drivers (Drivers Only)

- Intel SATA AHCI-RAID Drivers (Drivers Only) :

Drivers - 2xx/3xx

- Intel Serial IO Drivers (Drivers Only) :

Drivers - 3xx/4xx

[DRIVERS] Intel Ethernet/WiFi/Bluetooth

- Intel Ethernet Drivers (Drivers Only) :

Drivers - I217/I218/I219 - Windows 10/11

[DRIVERS] Realtek Audio (AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/8xx & Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx/8xx)

Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS)

[DRIVERS] Intel iGPU (6xxx/7xxx/8xxx/9xxx/10xxx CPU)

Intel iGPU Drivers :

Drivers - 7xxx/8xxx/9xxx/10xxx CPU

[FIRMWARE] Intel ME (H310/B360/H370/Z390)

Hello c0br4x

All looks good, I don't see any missing drivers in that section of your device manager.

If they are optional updates, they're not critical to install. I have some optional updates that I didn't install, I don't notice any issues with them not being installed.

i was searching and found some drivers that @MoKiChU posted that are more updated jsut can see what to download but maybe i will give it a try because some driver are too old for example this one that i think is the one appearing in windows optional update Captura de ecrã 2024-12-10 164650.png
or am i wrong and just let it be like this ?

It's fine to update the optional updates.

The important one is the Chipset driver, everything else is pretty much optional.

I have the same motherboard and windows core isolation blocks asio.sys which also means I cannot use various programs. It's been utterly catastrophic as I'm a music producer and can no longer use my two main programs. Going on two weeks now. The computer is less than 5 y/o.

If you have a usb soundcard and/or ableton live...try finding your soundcard on the preferences menu because I can't.
