Got home and installed the new BIOS. Cleaned up all DTT/APO related stuff and tried to start over. It still fails to connect. I think it's time for me to just give up on this.

It also looks like ASUS removed the bios from my motherboard's support page.

EDIT: Decided to reinstall windows and everything is finally working.

Same issue as me right now. Every thing installed, BIOS, BIOS enabled option, Updated driver and app, but "Failed to connect". Also I did a full removal, reinstall but no results.

Please, if you solve the issue, report back. I will do the same if my status change.

Hello I've done the latest bios update, updated intel DTT but I can't find the intel DTT option on my ASUS z690, do you know where can I enable it ? Thanks !

I've already enable it but since I installed the new bios I can't find it now.. and intel DTT does not appear in device management, thanks !

EDIT : ok I found it, will be back in a minute

EDIT 2 : I just saw the picture below of tappiah..

EDIT 3 : It's working ! Asus z690a / i7 12700K

Is there people here using the advanced option ? Wanna try it with Alan Wake 2 and Horizon Forbidden West, is it risky ?

I dont know what all the big fuzz is about the APO, I have 5 of the games on the list and I dont notice any diffrence having it enabled or disabled???

This worked perfectly with my 12900k. Definitely getting more FPS in Valdrakken. Thank you.

Its not working for me, but I have no one, but two devices with the name "Intel DTT Updater Component". Is this normal or is it just me?

I don't think that's normal. I would personally try uninstalling all 3 then reinstalling the drivers. After updating bios and turning on DTT ofcourse. Then uninstall and reinstall the APO app. That's what worked for me.

Me too i have the same and not able to remove delete, keep coming back...

Got the same. Two of the "Intel DTT Updater Component". Did you ever fix it?
