- Intel ME Consumer Firmware :

Firmware : 11.12.97.2614 [25/08/2024]
Download : Link

Check/Update Process :

Check current version : Right click on "Check.cmd" > Run as administrator

Install/Update : Right click on "Install.cmd" > Run as administrator > Automatic restart when install is done

OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit or more recent.
Hardware requirements : Motherboards with Intel X299 chipset.

Hi, just create account just for this one question.

Will this work on Asus tuf x299 mark 1 board, if not, is there (has some lovely person use his/her precious for it) one that fits. i know theres 4001 fw on asus official site, mut would love to use modded one above.

Hi,

Yes of course, as @Cherry_PL_ told you, but before trying to update your Intel ME firmware, you must install/update your Intel MEI drivers first (if it is not done yet) :

[DRIVERS] Intel Chipset/MEI/SATA/VROC (X299)

The Intel ME firmwares are signed by Intel and compiled by an Intel tool. When flashing your Intel ME Firmware, the Intel flashing tool performs some checks before flashing the Intel ME Firmware : It check the integrity of the Intel ME Firmware of the system to be flashed, it check the integrity of the Intel ME Firmware to be flashed and it check if the Intel ME Firmware type to be flashed matches Intel ME Firmware type of the system on which it will be flashed.
