A little tip here... always update the Intel ME firmware while on "Safe Mode" .
I always do that. Just minimizing the risk of something interrupting this sensitive update process.

the good tip, never thought about that, i always update in standard windows, i think nothing can prevent to do this except some anti-virus, i don't use any. but anyways safe mod is good idea for this. even not anti-virus soft can interfere in the memory or do something else. even if updater itself try to exclude anything. so even if this overkill it's good overkill.

i don't know why, but after this firmware update i reminded i haven't update chipset and me drivers long time. so after update to this one i update me and chipset driver... everything cool, i hadn't uninstall old drivers. just install new me driver cmd and ne chipset driver exe, both restarted pc. all good, z790hero bios 0816, i don't remember when i stop update bios. but all time i get back to 0816 for 13900k at two kits of KF564C32RSK2-32
