Thread updated.

Hi MoKiChU, I have the ASUS TUF GAMING Z590-PLUS mobo and I have tried to update the ME firmware using the file Install.cmd with administrator privileges.

Once launched your update files, the system seems to update the firmware, it reboots the PC, but when I launch the check program I see that the firmware installed is ever the 15.0.21.1549 version, instead of the 15.0.30.1692 version...

How I can fix this issue ?

Thanks in advance.

And where exactly do you see firmware version 15.0.21.1549 in the picture you attached a proof ?

I don't understand what proof do you need...

I downloaded the firmware pack attached in the first post here and I have launched the update process: the program (seems) to have upgraded the firmware going from 0 percent to 100 percent and restarted automatically the system, but when I check the firmware version after the update process, I see again the 15.0.30.1692 version, that's all.

Does exists another program or mode to check the ME firmware version ?
In case lemme know.

Thanks.

Hey guys, lots of work done here...thanks for your effort...just to be reassured....what is the latest firmware for my ROG STRIX Z590-E GAMING WIFI? Is there any changelog somewhere? 15.0.22.1622 or 15.0.30.1692 ?

https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-z590-e-gaming-wifi-model/helpdesk_bios says that it is 15.0.21.1549 .

Where are you getting that firmware? Station Drivers or a site like that ? 🙂

In this same thread? I might be misunderstood....These numbers where found in the first and fourth replay of the first page of this same thread...Did I understood wrong? Sorry if this is the case...ignore me.

I think you don't even read the information in front of you. In that case, you'll never solve the problem, because the problem is not there.
As for a program to check the ME firmware version, did you bother with Google ? There are several such tools, and the ME FW version is even displayed in BIOS on the first page.

Hi,

What issue are you talking about ? You have the 15.0.30.1692 version currently installed.

I think you have a hard time understanding what is displayed in front of you :

Circled in red : Intel ME Firmware Update Tool version currently used.
Circled in green : Intel ME Firmware version currently installed.

Note that you can also have this information in another way besides :

- Main tab of your BIOS/UEFI.
- Firmware tab in the Properties of your Intel MEI drivers.

Yeah, you right.

Thanks

Hello All,

After the ME firmware update: 15.0.30.1692 I have a loss of performance.
Usually I use XMP mode for my memory but after the update of the ME FW the CPU clocks down under load.

I tried a downgrade to 15.0.21.1549 but that probably doesn't work. (Which I would actually prefer.)

Now I have tested a little and have seen that when I enter Auto in the AI Overclock Tuner it goes "normal" again
But why doesn't XMP1 / XMP2 or Manuel work anymore? I would prefer XMP, but then I have a loss of performance.

What is set with "auto"? can I enter these settings in Manual mode or XMP mode?

while cinebench is running:

XMP-Mode / Manual-Mode -> The temperature never goes above 70-75 degrees

Auto-Mode
