This latest ME firmware fixed my issue with a Z490-E Gaming mobo. I updated to the 2601 firmware also. Everything working perfect again!

yeap 14.1.65.1990 firmware and 2601 bios work perfect , no security problem and no bootloop 😉 , the only problem is after update the bios have to set up again the fans curves , XMP lol but i made a video before reset the bios to know how i have it before the update 🙂

Ah you had an issue as well for the fan curve ? I was wondering why my fans were so loud :o. Though my curve didnt change at all after the update, but remaking it as it was by resetting the point made it work.

Hi everyone,

In order to anticipate questions, 14.1.65.1990 version has been reposted because the Firmware PHY has been updated.

Why the date of this updated PHY is 25/08/2021 then?

Hi,

This is not the release/update date, this is the Intel internal build date.

The 14.1.65.1990 ME firmware version previously posted contained this PHY firmware version : 12.14.214.2014 [01/04/2021]

in other word in order to update the Firmware PHY : 12.14.215.2015 , we have to re install / overwrite the firmware 14.1.65.1990 ?

Hi,

Absolutely, quite like a regular update.

It's about USB-C. There is no choice to be made, the PHY sub firmware must be updated just as much as the ME main firmware.
