TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency

If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

The realtek console will not work unless u have an Alc4080 codec. If you have a ASUS ROG SS3 board then it will try to use the SS3 one.

Realtek Audio Console will not install on my pc, I have z790a ddr5 mobo, I installed the drivers listed on this page and the drivers install fine but I cant install the Realtek Audio Console. It just wont download, but when I download the legacy drivers listed on the same page the Realtek Audio Console downloads and opens fine no issues. I tested this driver on 3 machines the driver that is not legacy wont allow me to install the Realtek Audio Console

are you have a problem opening Realtek Audio Console?

Good morning @MoKiChU, I wanted to ask to see if I can get some assistance with an issue I am having with installing Sonic Studio 3 and Sonic Radar 3 from the Microsoft Store after following your cleanup and install process. I was able to install the Realtek Audio Control UAD, and the DTS_Sound_Unbound_UAD. Here is some information about my motherboard, build, and error.

* I also tried resetting the Microsoft Store Cache with the following command "wsreset.exe". But that did not help. *

Hi;

For those who have trouble installing the drivers, shorten the folder

RENAME the folder  like : driveraudio   and make sure subfolder too and copy the folder to drive C:

Thanks for trying to help with this, I understand that you don't work for Asus, I don't know where to direct my frustration so please understand that this isn't directed at you. I have been trying to get 5.1 surround to work over 3.5mm audio jack (black, green and orange) without any success, Realtek would allow me to select 5.1 in System Sounds but it only present audio in 2 channel during the speaker configuration sound test. I tried uninstalling the Realtek device in Device Manager and I downloaded the Realtek driver package from Asus (Z690 Strix D4 Wifi) but there are two installation .exe's in the main package and then like 4 different sub-folders with additional installation .exe's in them, I tried all of them, they all take like 5 minutes to install and then demand a restart which seems to take at least 3 minutes. I spent at least 3 hours ******ing with this and I'm exhausted, I found this thread and followed your instructions to the T and the installation window of the final step simply hangs, it never actually finishes installing the Realtek driver and prompts and auto-restart. I am about to upgrade from this platform to AM5 (X670E Crosshair Hero) and this entire experience has really left a bad taste in my mouth with Asus. This is completely ridiculous. I currently have an Asus Xonar DX discrete sound card that will convey 5.1 over Dolby Digital to my Logitech Z906 5.1 Surround system but this sound card will not work with Win 11 and so I'm trying to ascertain the viability of accomplishing 5.1 over 3.5mm audio jacks on the MB and apparently, at least with the current MB, this is basically impossible.

I'm seriously regretting staying with Asus, unfortunately I've already seated the CPU and block into the MB otherwise this would be going back.

Update:

Re-attempting the final step and apparently it did finish the "installation" of the Realtek driver but I have no Realtek device under System Sounds except Realtek Digital Output which was already there to begin with (there is no SPDIF out on this board!) and which is completely useless. So I guess I will need to restore via system image to at minimum get my stupid headphone jack back? Completely unacceptable, it's crap like this that makes people not want to bother with PC gaming at all. What a total nightmare just to get stupid surround sound audio to ******ing work.

HEY ASUS, DON'T ******ING ADVERTISE 5.1 AND 7.1 SURROUND IF IT DOESN'T ******ING WORK AND / OR REQUIRES SPENDING 5 ******ING HOURS DICKING AROUND WITH A CONVOLUTED ******ING PROCESS THAT WE DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND FOR DEVICE DRIVERS THAT SHOULD SIMPLY DO EVERYTHING THE OP HAS POSTED BY SIMPLY USING A SINGLE EXECUTABLE, NOT A PACKAGE WITH 6 DIFFERENT FOLDERS AND 6 DIFFERENT EXECUTABLES, NON OF WHICH WORK, ALL OF WHICH INSTALL USELESS "SONIC RADAR" BULL****** THAT ******ING NO-BODY WANTS OR USES.

LAST ASUS PRODUCT I ******ING PROMISE.

Bro I wish they would care even a little to actually make sonic studio 3 work on the Z790-H board. But alas it doesn't. High Definition Audio is better than the garbage asus has been putting out recently. Straight downhill since 2016, kinda sad since I used to defend em tooth and nail and when I build my new PC all I get is constant issues with audio. Its crazy that the z370-h works better than the z790-h in terms of audio
