Hi everyone,
The Update.cmd installation script has been deleted from the drivers packages. Your INSTALL and UPDATE processes use now the same Install.cmd installation script (which use the Realtek GUI installer), and your UPDATE processes have been updated accordingly.
Thread, drivers packages updated.

Hi,
I've seen your message about change in install and update process and decided to update the drivers after a while. Did purge every driver related to realtek sound card with driver store explorer and clean updated it. Everything is working fine for a couple of days already.
Thank you for your dedication on this.

Hi i have the ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI not 100% sure on the correct drivers but have chosen the Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS) from the list, as the recomended on the website is not doing anything and sound is crap
This has fixed an issue i was having with no microphone controls, it was either low or mute (no gain or volume) and this driver seems to have improved it, however the mic is still fairly low volume even at max, but at least peolple can hear.
The main issue i am still having and the reason for this post, is that there is no front panel audio detection, if i plug in the headset on the front it will play out of both the headset and the rear panel speakers. Along with this issue the audio from the rear is very poor quality but as soon as it switches over to the front panel and headset the audio is so much better out of the rear panel
do i have the right drivers ? anyone else havbe this issue?
also to add i have 2 of these motherboards recently purchased that both have these issues.

Hi everyone,
As reminder, I do not work for ASUS & I do not replace ASUS Support :

We appreciate the drivers and detailed installation instructions, but the problem is that this is essentially the highest profile / most visited audio thread on this website, and yet we are still unable to attract the attention or help or anybody from Asus.
It seems to me that there are a number of people like me struggling with poor rear line out quality, likely coming from incorrect Impedance Sensing, which causes over-amplification and distortion. My intuition tells me this is a driver issue.

Hi,
ASUS Support/Staff do not intervene in my threads, so there is no point in posting/spamming your issues in my threads.
Again, if you want to have the attention of ASUS Support/Staff, open a new thread with your issues in this ROG Care category : ROG Care - Hardware & Software Support - Gaming Motherboards.

Morning MoKiChU,
Please let me begin with apologising if i have inadvertently started any frustration, but i appreciate the work you have put in this thread as it’s the only location i have found that has improved my situation, if only slightly.
i currently do have a post open in the section of the forum you have linked, however it has been hidden under "spam" and i recently got released again, no help has yet to be given, but it is early days.
with my post here i was simply asking to confirm that this is the correct set of drivers from you (your post said we could ask) as well as trying to add context to my issue to further help others in the same boat that even though this driver is an improvement it’s not solving the underlining driver issue for my particular board , searching the thread there is more than just me with this same issue, which is comforting in a way.

Hi,
You figured it out yourself, otherwise I would have indicated to you the drivers package to use. But anyway, if that can comfort you :
You have an ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboard with ALC40xx codec, so :
You need Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS) from the first post of this thread.
