Sorry, I messed up, the one with "Fixed Line In volume of sound" note is the latest one, so you probably have it already.

So if my motherboard is Z790 Dark Hero with ALC4082, which driver should I choose?

Hi,

You have an ASUS ROG SS|DTS Sound Unbound motherboard with ALC40xx codec, so :

You need Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS-DTS) from the first post of this thread.

Hi, I got an error as below when trying to install Realtek Audio Control:

If someone struggling with same issue above, or with drivers not correctly installed, I can recommed following cleanup from MoKiChU 1st post and then update driver manually as per this post:

https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/downloads-for-motherboards/drivers-realtek-usb-audio-amd-5xx-6xx-8xx-a...

And then install drivers in Safe Mode as Windows 11 is blocking something within installer.

You can do this by running Install.cmd or manually per this post: https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/downloads-for-motherboards/drivers-realtek-usb-audio-amd-5xx-6xx-8xx-a...

I hope wll help someone with this information.

All best guys, and good work MoKiChU !
