If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).
If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter

We appreciate the drivers and detailed installation instructions, but the problem is that this is essentially the highest profile / most visited audio thread on this website, and yet we are still unable to attract the attention or help or anybody from Asus.
It seems to me that there are a number of people like me struggling with poor rear line out quality, likely coming from incorrect Impedance Sensing, which causes over-amplification and distortion. My intuition tells me this is a driver issue.

Hi,
ASUS Support/Staff do not intervene in my threads, so there is no point in posting/spamming your issues in my threads.
Again, if you want to have the attention of ASUS Support/Staff, open a new thread with your issues in this ROG Care category : ROG Care - Hardware & Software Support - Gaming Motherboards.

Morning MoKiChU,
Please let me begin with apologising if i have inadvertently started any frustration, but i appreciate the work you have put in this thread as it’s the only location i have found that has improved my situation, if only slightly.
i currently do have a post open in the section of the forum you have linked, however it has been hidden under "spam" and i recently got released again, no help has yet to be given, but it is early days.
with my post here i was simply asking to confirm that this is the correct set of drivers from you (your post said we could ask) as well as trying to add context to my issue to further help others in the same boat that even though this driver is an improvement it’s not solving the underlining driver issue for my particular board , searching the thread there is more than just me with this same issue, which is comforting in a way.

Hi,
You figured it out yourself, otherwise I would have indicated to you the drivers package to use. But anyway, if that can comfort you :
You have an ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboard with ALC40xx codec, so :
You need Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS) from the first post of this thread.

Hi everyone,
The Update.cmd installation script has been deleted from the drivers packages. Your INSTALL and UPDATE processes use now the same Install.cmd installation script (which use the Realtek GUI installer), and your UPDATE processes have been updated accordingly.
Thread, drivers packages updated.

Hi,
I have a Z690-E running Windows 11 24H2. I followed the SS3-DTS instructions meticulously, but it appears that setup.exe doesn't actually install any drivers. As recommended in previous replies, I "unblocked" the zip file before extracting it, and I ensured that the path to the extracted files was not too long. After running the Install.cmd and restarting,
However - and this is the reason why I'm replying to this thread - I did notice that an empty 1043_ASUSTek_System Product Name.alu appeared in System32\drivers. Based on the date modified, I have some reason to believe this file was created by your installer, but it's also possible it was created by Armoury Crate. I'll be digging into this a bit further, but it seems odd, so I thought I'd let you know.
I'll be trying manual driver installation now, we'll see how that goes.
Edit: So manual installation worked. I'm not yet sure what setup.exe was doing, but it definitely wasn't installing the drivers.
