Hi @MoKiChU
Thanks for the good drivers. I'm using an X870E Hero, Dolby access works very well.
The plify level is missing in the RTKuwp.
I installed an old package over it from x670E Hero
package name: e78f7eb960014251aba981658cb8efda
plify is now available, can you somehow incorporate it into the driver package?

Hi,
You have an ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboard with ALC40xx codec, so :
You need Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS) from the first post of this thread.
Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.
Note : If your install issue persist, please refer to these 2 posts (the first then the second if necessary) to troubleshoot :

Thank you for response, I have done what's on the guide and the setup went through.
Program that's working : DTS Sound Unbound.
Program that doesn't work :
Sonic Studio doesn't work, NOPKEY ERROR.
Realtek Audio Console ; Impossible to connect to RPC SERVICE.

If you have Realtek USB2.0 Audio in Device Manager, you need to update the driver. This is a Windows driver and will not work with Realtek Control and SS3/SR3. See this link:

I found a solution.
My problem was that the driver was never actually installed because of the presence of Windows Realtek Driver.
So what I did is that I changed driver install policy from gpedt.msc :
Computer configuration >Administrative Templates > System >Device Installation>Device Installation Restriction>
allow administrators to override device installation restriction policies : ENABLED.
Second thing was to not include Drivers in windows update :
Computer Configuration>Administrative Templates>Windows Components>Windows Update>Manage updates offered from Windows Updates
Do not include drivers with Windows Updates : ENABLED
After that I deleted Windows realtek driver from device manager and restarted. I repeated the clean step after restart just in case, you know that it'll work if you see no sound after restart.
I did my installation and it worked like a charm. Thank you all for your help.
