Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).
If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).
If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

Thank you for your feedback. I did install the driver package as instructed and followed the cleanup and install process scrupulously. I also checked the impedance and the amplification. Both are set correctly after I have plugged the headphones out and back in again.
I should add that I connect my headset to the front panel. The sound is quieter there. When I plug the headset into the rear panel, the volume there is the same as on the front panel before the update.

Hi @MoKiChU, I hope this is the correct thread for this issue. I have been playing with this all weekend, and there has been no change to the Realtek Audio Console, even after reinstalling everything. I still get the "Can not connect to RPC service" message when I try to open the app. Is there a setting in the bios or somewhere else I need to look for that could have something to do with this? Sonic Studio, Sonic Radar, and DTS are open with no issues.

Hi,
You are now in the correct thread for your motherboard. As reminder :

If your "Can not connect to RPC service" issue persists :

MoKiChU,
Thank you for the response. I've done the cleanup process and installed the correct driver but have the following issues.
1.) In the startup tab there is no RealTek HD Audio Universal Service.
2:) Under services, DcomLaunch and RpcEptMapper are both running but RktAudioUniveralService does not exist.

You are a genius! Thank you so much for these safe mode instructions. After 10 days of working on this and opening a ticket with Asus that made it to level 3 support(where they still haven't helped me), your instructions have solved my issue. I know you don't work for Asus but they would be smart if they hired you. Thanks again!

Hi @MoKiChU, Thank you so much for that info. The fix enabled my "Realtek HD Audio Universal Service" under startup. Everything is now up and running.
All of the other services were working as usual and running.

After following your step, sonic studio 3 running error and showing this error
The current system is not supported, or the audio driver have not been properly installed. TIMEOUT
Does sonic studio iii have bug or discontinued? cause the latest x870 mobo doesn't have sonic studio iii included
