I had this issue on my z790a wifi with 13700k, could not get realtek control panel to install yet older driver worked fine. So i decided to return motherboard, ram, cpu back to Amazon, I paid a bit more money got a brand new z790a wifi II and a 14700k, kingston ddr5 32gb ram, even bought a new 990 pro, pc case and psu is the same. Installed windows 11 OS from a fresh install and then installed all the updates and then tried installing the driver that is ment to be for my motherboard and again the realtek control panel is not installing I click on it in windows store the downloading spining circle spins for a few seconds and stops. I even tried installing it from the apps that included in the driver package and its the same, it opens up windows store. This is not possible on two boards and different cpu, ram, storage the issue is present. I tried asking for halp from a few other people by messaging them asking them are they getting this problem when they install the latest driver that had my board, and I was told of by Mokichu in a DM that I shouldnt spam this chat 😕

Hi, I had the same rpc error when I installed SS driver on my SS3 motherboard.
Maybe you are installing the wrong driver yourself.

Hi everyone,
As reminder, you can determine for yourself which drivers package does your motherboard need thanks to these indications (If you still have any doubts, do not hesitate to ask me by PM or in the appropriate thread) :

Hi there, thanks a lot for giving us all these carefully debloated & clean drivers package, your work is very very appreciated 🙂 !
Just a quick question regarding A-Volute & Nahimic Services ; Are they supposed to be installed using your SS3 clean drivers ?
I am on a fresh windows install and checked for all inf files using Driver Store Explorer prior to installing your drivers, i also checked the processes and no Nahimic or A-Volute whatsoever.
However they are now both installed after using the AUDIO_Realtek_USB_UAD_ASUS_ROG_SS3-DTS_v6.4.0.2395. Is this intended ? I suppose they are required for both Sonic Studio III and Radar but i don't use them.
I used to install the driver and the Realtek Control app as i find it more useful but for some unknown reason it has completely disappeared from the Store and it will only find Sonic Studio now. I don't understand what happens or if something changed in the drivers recently.
Kind Regards and thanks for all the indexes !

Hi mokichu, Thank you for all your updates I have a problem, I upgraded my computer from a asus ddr5 z790a with a 13700k to a 14700k z790a wifi II and got new ram, and new NVME and the drivers that are ment to be for the motherboard I install but the realtek control panel is not being installed any help?
Hi,
Your previous motherboard (ASUS ROG Strix Z790-A Gaming WiFi) was an ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboard with ALC40xx codec, so you needed Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS) from the first post of this thread.
Your current motherboard (ASUS ROG Strix Z790-A Gaming WiFi II) is an ASUS ROG SS|DTS Sound Unbound motherboard with ALC40xx codec, so you need Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS-DTS) from the first post of this thread.

So what is the fix for this? Am I correct to say these are the drivers for my board: Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS-DTS) : Z790A WIFI II
ksenchy tried to install an incorrect drivers package for his motherboard, he has no more issue since he installed the correct drivers package as he indicated here : https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/downloads-for-motherboards/drivers-realtek-usb-audio-amd-5xx-6xx-8xx-a....
I will send you a PM about your Realtek Audio Control install issue.

Hi,
Yes, given that you have an ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboard with ALC40xx codec, and that you need Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS).

You don't have to search/find anything, every app that you need are in the Apps folder of your drivers package as indicated in your INSTALL process (From your INSTALL process : "Go in "Apps" folder > Install your apps from the Microsoft Store shortcuts").

Hi,
You are in the wrong thread and you tried to install an incorrect drivers package for your motherboard :
You have an ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboard without ALC40xx codec, so :
You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS) from the first post of this thread : [DRIVERS] Realtek Audio (AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/8xx & Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx/8xx).
Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

Hi Mokichu, I apologize, I meant the driver package list from this page where you mention "So, if in your motherboards specs you see the words :" I think if you add that post, or maybe pin it separately, it could help a lot.

Thanks Mokichu for your kind help again.
I used the SS driver on my SS3 to avoid SS3 Nahimic & A-Volute services and so far had not encountered any issue. No "CPU hogging" or performance issue but i still wonder what does these 2 services and the SS3 APO really do as i don't hear any difference between the SS & SS3 driver on Apple Music or my games when i compare the two. Maybe is it completely useless if you don't use Radar/Sonic Studio etc... ?
I'm a monitoring kind of listener and don't fancy any effect and the likes, maybe that's why ? Or maybe i simply don't know what to look/listen for ?
