Thread updated.

I had a question about the audio drivers. Im using the Z790 Maximus Extreme not sure which one I need. Also if I use my own AMP/DAC do I really need them?

Do you use sonic studio 3? Will it be there as separate app or was that inside armory crate now? As new feature inside armory crate app

only thing I wanna add to it that I only want the driver to be up to date. I don’t use any of the third party software softwares provided for these motherboards

Hi mokichu, Thank you for all your updates I have a problem, I upgraded my computer from a asus ddr5 z790a with a 13700k to a 14700k z790a wifi II and got new ram, and new NVME and the drivers that are ment to be for the motherboard I install but the realtek control panel is not being installed any help?

Am I correct to say these are the drivers I need:

Hi, I have a ROG STRIX TRX40 MB - I usually see an error "Controls the DTS audio processing object" in Reliability Monitor.

I believe I need to update the driver for that? I wonder which one from your links is right for my MB

Thanks!

Hi There,

I don't have an SS3 MB but rather a Strix Z590-A Gaming WiFi 6 with the same drivers.

I don't know if you can help but I hear a low boom sound from my base spkr when I boot & Windows is not very fast to boot. Also sound doesn't react immediately.

I installed drivers 6.3.9600. I don't have a 5 channel sound box.. All I have are 2 good spkrs. I just bought this rig for video work but I would like to have reasonable sound. From what I heard the chip does have good sound.

Thanks for the help. 🙂

Hi,

You have an ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboard with ALC408x codec, so :

You need Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS) from the first post of this thread.

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.
