@rtfmoz Could your crashes in game be related to your BIOS settings? You may have seen information that the default ASUS BIOS is trying to boost the CPU to much. Most of the motherboards recently received a BIOS update where in the BIOS you can now choose to use INTEL BASELINE PROFILE which will significantly reduce the overclocking and run your setup at default Intel Baselines. If this solves your problem then the issue is not related to the application but the overclocking done by default using ASUS default BIOS profile.

@achugh Skull n Bones game crashed five times soon after entering the world. After the fifth time I followed the instructions again to remove all sound drivers then installed ONLY the drivers and no applications. No more crashes. Through a simple process of elimination identified SS3 as the source of the issue. Removed everything and started again. This time only installed drivers and DTS:X software as the Realtek Configuration Application does not work on Windows 11. Played all yesterday, 12 hours and not one crash. Happy to perform any diagnosis that may assist in nailing down the crash specifics.

MokiChU,
it looks like we lost the Sound Effects feature in the new drivers Audio Control Panel.
Wiithout that feature my audio has Echos on the normal speaker selection. I will have to roll back to the previous driver. I'll attempted a clean installation first before doing that though.

Hello Mokichu, for aome reason Realtek Audio Control isn't installing like before. I run install.cmd as admin then i use the Microsoft Store shortcuts. Before The Realtek Audio Control was automatically installed after "Install.cmd was ran, but now it doesn't work. Microsoft store always say there was an error and show me the error code: 0x803FB005. Also i DO NOT want to install Asus Armoury Crate (Bloatware). Is there a way to solve this. Thanks

Hi,
It is by design, It's always worked like this whether with the audio drivers packages from your motherboard support page or with Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS) from the first post of this thread, the equalization and the effects features are done via the SS3 drivers/app.
You need to install Sonic Studio III app in order to have your EQ and to use (or not) the SS3 sound effects features.
Note : You don't need to install Sonic Radar III app.

Hi,
You tried to install an incorrect drivers package for your motherboard.
You have an ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboard with ALC40xx codec, so :
You need Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS) from the first post of this thread.
Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.
