Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency

I had a similar setup with a separate DAC and optical output.  That was until I realized my speakers already had a DAC in them that was better than than the separate DAC I was using. Plus the motherboard has a DAC too so I was using way to much equipment.

I used to always update my drivers immediately but after so many issues with sound quality I'm not updating from the Realtek driver 6.3.9600.2368 I'm on now because it has been working and sounding almost flawlessly.

I have found that unless the DAC is ground-isolated, I get noise. The optical output does that. I tried a USB DAC, and unless I put a USB isolator inline, I get noise. I also get noise if I connect my amp directly to the line out on the motherboard (on the headphone jack too). I haven't tried using an audio signal ground isolator, I remember that being a thing for car audio where the power can be dirty. I would use the motherboard outputs if they were clean.

The optical works like it should, until it craps out and goes to static, then I have to restart the device.

Been doin a bunch of brands motherboard testing and I wanted to follow up. Did Asus fix the SS3 SupremeFX 1220A codec so sonic studio applications actually work or is it still broken?

Hi,

Again, stop posting in this thread. You are in the wrong thread.

You have an ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboard without ALC40xx codec, so :

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS) from the first post of this thread : [DRIVERS] Realtek Audio (AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx & Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx).

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

I'm currently using one with the alc4080 codec and its awful. Has a horrid white noise in the background at all times and electrical interference

Hello @MoKiChU, i have a mobo Asus Rog Maximus XIII Hero, and for audio is Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS Legacy) , it's correct??

When i unzip this driver's package, i have always this error message: dts_postprocessing_0B051915.lic, it's possible to fix them please?? I just downloaded many times, but without any success...

Also, i tried with version UAD - ASUS ROG SS-DTS, but with this has an error for using Realtek Central UWP app (not works because it's a different hardware driver)..

EDITRealtek Audio console not working, loading in loop and nothing appears. I installed the version SS3. Any others solution??

I had a question about the audio drivers. Im using the Z790 Maximus Extreme not sure which one I need. Also if I use my own AMP/DAC do I really need them?

only thing I wanna add to it that I only want the driver to be up to date. I don’t use any of the third party software softwares provided for these motherboards

If so, just don't install the SS3 apps.

I tried first one and then the other, as well as cleaning as described; SS version does not install realtek audio console for driver error, while SS3 version does not work audio console (as screenshot attached below).

Another question: I can install whole driver's package without AUDIO_Sonic_Radar_III_UAD, AUDIO_Sonic_Studio_III_UAD and relative companion's app?? I have always issues (also with some games) with these drivers/software installed, also culprit A-VoluteNS and NahimicService..

the SS3 audio console doesn't function anymore as I've tested and been told with boards that require it. (Tested on a Z790-H) the EQ and any of the settings do not work even when it launches and has the UI up checking or unchecking doesn't functionally do anything. Been reporting it for over 4-5 months now and still no fix.

I'm not related to SS3 audio console, but with Realtek Audio Console (see screenshots above)..
