OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit or more recent.
Hardware requirements (AMD) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).
Hardware requirements (Intel) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).

Note : In order to know which drivers package to use, match the audio specifications of your motherboard with the apps or ask me.

TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

Has anyone else lost their DTS licence after updating to the new drivers (Gen 2 in my case)? DTS Sound Unbound wants me to buy a new licence.

Hi, I have an Asus Prime Z270-K. Does anyone know which download I should use?

Thank you 🙂

Hi,

You have an ASUS PRIME Realtek motherboard, so :

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME RTK MB) from the first post of this thread.

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

Hello Mokichu! I've been using your drivers for a long time but for the past few versions I have a problem. My current mb is B550-E (SS3-DTS) and even when doing full cleanup the installer gets stuck while trying to install dtsapo4ultraAsusextensionpkg.inf. Can you tell me if there's fix for that? It doesn't matter if its Gen 1 or Gen 2, it always gets stuck.

Searched through the last 10 pages or so and couldnt find which driver to use for a ROG Hero z690 motherboard. Also I installed the driver from the motherboards support page but it installed the realtek usb audio driver. Do I need to uninstall that first? Thanks in advance.

Think I found my answer a few more pages back
"All ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboards with ALC408x codec (USB) that exist on the market today and that will be released from today are Gen2 (Intel Z590/Z690 & Last AMD X570 ...).

ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboards Gen2 are only Gen2 drivers compatible.
ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboards Gen2 (USB) are only Gen2 drivers compatible."

I still dont know about how USB figures into it though.

@MoKiChU Many thanks for the updates 🙂

I have ROG STRIX X470-F GAMING mobo but I'm facing two issues with the latest updates.

The first one when I try to open Sonic Studio 3 while playing any sound, it takes sometime then throw an error that this system is not supported .
And to solve this I have to restart NahimicService from the task manager or restart the system.

The second issue when I enable the Upmix/Surround option to have the sound out of all my 4 speakers; the sound quality then reduces dramatically.
That doesn't happen if I installed the mobo's support page drivers.

Note. I'm installing (Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3 MB) from OP and also followed all the instructions carefully, even do clean install each time I update the drivers.

Hi,

You have an ASUS ROG SS3 motherboard, so :

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3 MB) Gen1 or Gen2 (Recommended) from the first post of this thread.

- Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process.
- Use this SS3 Cleaner tool (Right click on "A-Volute_SS3_Cleanup.exe" > Run as administrator) then restart your PC
- Follow scrupulously your INSTALL process.
- For the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

Also, to avoid ZoneID blocking trouble :

- For each downloaded .zip : ZoneID unblock the .zip (Right click on the .zip file > Properties > Check the box Unblock > OK).

or

- Disable the ZoneID blocking completely (you will no longer have to unblock each downloaded .zip) :

- Right-click Windows Start button then click Launch then type gpedit.msc > OK
- User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Attachment Manager
- Do not preserve zone information in file attachment : Enabled > OK.

Many thanks @MoKiChU, I think the "A-Volute_SS3_Cleanup" file did the trick with the SS3 launch error and it's now works flawlessly.
But for the second issue, I still feel sound quality reduction if I enabled the "Upmix/Surround option". but that's OK I won't enable it for now, hoping there will be fix with the upcoming driver updates.

Thanks again dear .. wishing you a great day 🙂
