OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit or more recent.
Hardware requirements (AMD) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).
Hardware requirements (Intel) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).

Note : In order to know which drivers package to use, match the audio specifications of your motherboard with the apps or ask me.

TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

Just wish to say thank you, since updating to Windows 2004 my realtek 5.1 front speakers were not working, I had to uninstall and use the Windows generic audio driver which was fine. Today I thought I would give your method a go and it worked, Realtek is back and all speakers reporting for duty in 5.1, thanks man!

@ Everyone : Please to those for whom it works to come forward, there is way too much negative feedback and almost no positive feedback (other than to say thank you), if the people who are complaining outnumber those who are satisfied, I don't see why to continue to release.

@ Those who complain of BSOD of all kinds or whatever else : I don't design/build the drivers, there is no point in telling me about your issues at each release unless it concerns the drivers installation or the packaging thereof. If you have issue, use the drivers packages from your product support page.

Works great for me! Many thanks for providing these.

I see DTS DtsApo4Service.exe 1.5.3.0 Application app crashes in my reliability history but they don't appear to affect anything. Wondering if it is when I shut frown, which I have been doing a lot.

Had no issue enabling two audio streams simultaneously on 6.0.9030.1 (though I haven't used that). Never had any BSOD on any versions.

Hi Mokichu,

I have an Asus ROG Maximus XI Apex and my question is which driver I have to choose to use SS3?
I`m on the latest Win10 Update, done a clean install and at the Moment the generic driver from Windows 10 is installed.

Could you please assist if you have a little bit of time?

Many thanks in advance.

Daniel

Hi,

Apex motherboards are not ASUS ROG SS3 motherboards and do not have SS3, they are AIMed for overclock enthusiasts.

You have an ASUS ROG Realtek motherboard, so :

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG/PRIME/TUF RTK MB) from the first post of this thread.

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.
