Note : In order to know which drivers package to use, match the audio specifications of your motherboard with the apps or ask me.
TIPS :
If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).
If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).
If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

I hope i'm in the correct forum here for my Asus ROG-STRIX-X570-E-GAMING 🙂
I never installed your drivers, only the one from the ASUS support website. But a friend pointed me to this forum since he had the same problem like me and it was solved with the latest Realtek Audio drivers (in case you wonder: sometimes after a restart i hear some low frequency noise emitting from the speakers).
I humbly ask which drivers I need exactly and if I need to do the cleanup also?
Thank ou for your advice and time!

Hi,
You have an ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboard, so :
You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS) from the first post of this thread.
Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

I'm sorry. I can't find the driver I want in all these comments...
My specifications are the Intel i9 10th generation,
The main board is using a z490 Maximus Hero (Wi-Fi).
Which of the latest drivers should I use here?
And the chipsets (2xx to 7xx) in the post,
Do you mean Intel 490 chipset or something?
I understand that DTS and SS3 are software names, but I'm so confused that I'm going crazy.

Hi everyone,
@ ASUS ROG SS3 motherboards users : Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3) drivers package type & Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS) drivers package type have been merged. So you have to use, from now, the Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS) drivers package type.
Thread, post & drivers package updated.

Considering that I was also struggling to find out which driver I needed and the mishmash of acronyms and others seem to have the same issue... This was the definitive post that really cleared things up for me and made the selection obvious: https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/downloads-for-motherboards/drivers-realtek-audio-amd-legacy-6xx-7xx-8x...
It might be worth to link to it or add the text to the original post. The info is really buried and not easy to find.
And Thanks to MoKiChU for all these driver posts - you are really doing ASUS' job here!!!! The issue with the drivers provided by asus is not only that they are old - they are modified with superflous meta-installers that obfuscate what in hell is really installed - if anything at all.

Hello, the latest drivers have a bug related to buffering of streams when viewing via Firefox? It started around >= v6.0.9590.1, Can anyone confirm this, or is the problem just for me?
