Thread updated.

Hello , first of all thank you for your work

i just installed the latest version  Drivers : 6.0.9621.1 WHQL [19/12/2023] but doesnt do the upgrade it stays at the previous version the  6.0.9618.1

i have windows 11 and are new i just installed a new mobo/cpu so i did a format with clean installation yesterday.

(took me some time to download the realtek control though (ms store didnt download the app)

any tip?

i run the driverstore explorer but i dont see any duplicate driver or anything.

i checked the driver through realtek control app and the computer magement -> audio-> realtek

What motherboard do you have?   I installed it on my B550-A and all went fine.

same motherboard B550-A Rog strix

should i uninstall the realtek driver first and do the update ?

it always worked with the update i never had a problem and im using the drivers of mokichu for years .

yeah, I would follow the uninstall directions and then install the new drivers.  Sometimes i have had the same issue and then rerun the install and it worked.

Yea i just im afraid i will have again problems with realtek audio control app..

I just run for 3d time the update and it worked...

The only thing that i change is that i run the setup  through C drive .... The previous times i run it from secondary drive (E) .. but that it shouldnt be any issue... Seriously the windows 11 are drunk or stupid sometimes.

also make sure that the MS store app downloads latest sonic studio and realtek app

I dont see any sonic studio software and i have disable the sonic option in audio section of control panel i only use realtek control app and i have it control my 2.1 speakers through the back headers of my mobo and then my stereo headphones as second audio source through the audio panel of my case, with the audio realtek control panel.

I need to download the sonic studio too?
