OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit or more recent.
Hardware requirements (AMD) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC408x).
Hardware requirements (Intel) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME motherboards with Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC408x).

Note : In order to know which drivers package to use, match the audio specifications of your motherboard with the apps or ask me.

TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

Mokichu, welcome back to ROG Forums, I was going to ask about this on the other platform but since you are back here...

I did my first .cmd style installation yesterday and it went smoothly, however there was a bit confusion on my part so I redid the installation with internet disabled, the whole time I was expecting to see the UI for Realtek's installer but that never came, I later figured that was the purpose. What confused me was this.
As you can see, the Audio IO properties still have the MS driver, but if you scroll down to software components, those are the new drivers. Do I need to fix this? If so, what should I do? Since everything is working fine, I figured wouldn't hurt to ask.

Hi,

This driver is not intended to be updated, it is a system driver.

These steps are not absolutely necessary and have been removed from the Install Process cleanup to simplify it.

Well.

Hello @MoKiChU and welcome back.
My motherboard is ASUS TUF GAMING X570-PLUS.
Which are the correct drivers for it? Are the last ones, for RTK motherboards?

Thank you again!

Hi,

I remind you that I do not work for ASUS and I do not replace ASUS Support :

- If your issue occurring with drivers from your motherboard support page (and therefore that it is not specific to the drivers that I offer) : Open a ticket with ASUS Support.
- If your issue didn't occurring with drivers from your motherboard support page : CLEANUP process then install/use the drivers package from your motherboard support page.

Hi,

You tried to use/install an audio drivers package type that is not for your motherboard type (you cannot choose a drivers package type, each drivers package type is dedicated to each motherboards type).

You have an ASUS TUF DTS Audio Processing motherboard, so :

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS TUF/PRIME DTS AP) from the first post of this thread.

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

thanks. is there any way to use more bands in dts system eq, because is too poor  - only 5 bands((((

Hello @MoKiChU

I have a z790-A wifi. I have installed the driver for PRIME DTSX Ultra.

Now, in Control panel >Audio > Speakers and levels tab doesnt show like this image:

Beric77_2-1686429130134.png

Now i have a lot of levels like, green rear, front pink, subwofer etc... do you know why ?

Now in game sound is horrible, i cant identify where the shots are coming from.

Do you know how can i back to settings same as the image, with only one volume level ?

I have tried to configure it on realtek audio console but the audio still is horrible.

Many thanks.
