Hi,

You have an ASUS ROG SS3 motherboard, so :

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3 MB) from the first post of this thread.

Im having a real nightmare with the audio on my b550-e. Desktop and video volume is ok but gaming audio is terrible I have to apply the maximum amplification and extreme smart volume on sonic studio just to get acceptable volume (now my audio lacks direction and sounds fairly distorted)
Its almost like my volume is being limited by software. Ive tried these drivers, the windows drivers and now my current official drivers.
Ive tried fresh install bought new headphones tried various different windows tweaks but had no joy. *Im praying you have a solution for me mokichu as Im all out of ideas.

Headsets tried : sennheiser gsp 500 & Beyerdynamic dt 880.

Thanks

Ps can you advise the correct driver just in case I have done something wrong.*

Note : Try by connecting your headsets via the ROG audio USB Type-C cable supplied with your motherboard (USB-C male end to be plugged into the female USB-C port next to your audio jacks, female jack end to be connected to the male jack port of your headsets).

Thanks for the response, Sadly I have no audio at the usb-c port so not sure what the type c cables function actually is. I also downloaded and installed your drivers as per your guide but for some reason had no audio after so I have reverted back to official drivers again for now.Â*
