Hi, I have an ASUS PRIME Z370-A motherboard. Which drivers should I install? I tried two of the drivers from the list. Can't download realtek audio console from windows store. I also have headphones to microphone leak with the basic Realtek HD Audio Drivers that were installed when I freshly installed windows a week ago. I don't have realtek audio console but I can't download it. I read online that I need to install the correct driver from this thread?

Hi,
You have an ASUS PRIME DTS Headphone:X v1 motherboard, so :
You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS TUF/PRIME DTS HPXv1) from the first post of this thread.
Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

Heya 🙂 First off I ahve used this for a year or 2 now and have been happy with the drivers for my Crosshair Hero VII. Howeve rthe most current version broke everythign, yes I know you dont provide support.
The newest version you put up it caused my realtek audio console to get replaced with some version from the windows store that refused to open giving me some "rpc service error" even after diagnosing services and all sorts of research it owuldnt open meaning I had no option for setting up my audio to split between front and back connections. Also it would fail downloading from the windows store link you provided.
This was a good time tho as I had plans to format my system completely so after going through a fresh install and usinng your laters drivers again it sitll did the same thing. New version of audio console refused to load. So I nuked it all registry everything and installed Asus ones from a couple years ago for the crosshair hero VII from the asus website. That worked and had the old realtek console. Only to have it get upgraded to the new audio console automatically and stop working again on the old drivers from asus.
So I said to hell with it nuked my system again (since it was just freshly installed anyways and had only the OS and base drivers on it) and this time disabled the windows store (via a powershell script) as well as automatic driver upgrades in advanced system settings. Finally, I have it working on the old drivers from the asus download site for the crosshair hero VII and the old console that comes with thos works.
So after this long winded post here is my question. It worked for me on your older drivers from I think like the beginning of they year or so before they switched to having to download the console for realtek from the windows store. Do you provide or have those still? I tried looking through all your drivers list but I see no older drivers for download.
Do you have a place I can get the older ones that dont have the windows store requirement for the audio console. The newer version of the old console worked better and had better impedence settings then this old version Im on from Asus and would like to get it back.
Is there any chance you have a place or repository of older driver packages?
Thanks!
