OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit or more recent.
Hardware requirements (AMD) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME/ProArt motherboards with AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/8xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).
Hardware requirements (Intel) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME/ProArt motherboards with Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx/8xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).

Note : In order to know which drivers package to use, match the audio specifications of your motherboard with the apps or ask me.

TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

Thread updated.

Thank you @MoKiChU. You are appreciated. STAY WELL!

Unfortunately this and the last release seem to remove the monitoring capabilities of the driver. Is this just to be expected going forward or is it some kind of error I'm having?

https://i.imgur.com/BGrz68Z.png

Unfortunately this method of monitoring is far superior to using it in windows/OBS/etc. as it has no latency and seems to happen at the analog audio routing level or something.

On a side note, is there any other asus/realtek utility we can use to tap into this motherboard level audio monitoring? I get that it's super niche, but it's so useful if you need it and would be enough to stop updating over for me personally.

Thanks in advance for any support with this issue and huge thanks for maintaining these driver threads over the years 🙂

Edit: for clarity, in the screenshot I linked, I mean that on the current release that section highlighted in the red box is simply not there

That does seem strange that it would of been removed.

I suggest you follow the cleanup instructions and do a clean install.

Hi,

Correct.

You have an ASUS ROG SS3 motherboard, so :

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3 MB) from the first post of this thread.

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

Thank you so much for your fast response.

Hello,
Since two days the effects of Sonic studio aren't working anymore. Until now I couldn't get them back. I already deinstalled and reinstalled the drivers and Sonic studio 3 - no success. Hope someone can help me with this. I am using Windows 11 - my Mainboard is X470-F Gaming.
My last choice wood be a new installation of Windows. But without knowing how to solve that problem it seem to be likely to run into this issue again.

Have you tried disabling and re-enabling the audio enhancements on the audio device, i know it sounds silly and that reinstalling would have fixed it, but that caught me out two driver releases ago. Do it in the realtek audio console, sound settings in the settings app and in the "more sound settings" options in the sound settings sections of settings app (they all do the same thing i just can't recall which one i specifically used).

I hope it helps
