INSTALL

Note : In order to know which drivers package to use, match the audio specifications of your motherboard with the apps or ask me.

TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

I'm installing windows fresh since I'm coming from an old motherboard to this rog strix z590a wifi. So no cleanup will be needed. Does anyone know if I need to use these drivers instead of asus download page and if they need to be installed in a certain order? Thanks in advance

New Realtek audio drivers are coming out so often as to wonder if it really is worth updating to every release. Too bad there are'nt any release notes so we can check what is fixed or added... @MoKiChU do you know?

Realtek never provides changelog, however I can tell you in general that the changes are adds of new hardware IDs, bug/security fixes, improvement of the sound spectrum, support for new games/apps/OS etc ...

And speaking of OS, as a reminder the 6.0.9200.1 version is the first WHQL certified for Windows 11, so it doesn't really surprise me if they release another version so quickly (also, if I hadn't been on vacation, I would have released 6.0.9200.1 WHQL version on July 9/10, 2021 and not July 17, 2021).

Thanks for the reply. I bet the 6.0.9200.1 driver (or a newer one) will be build into the RTM release of Windows 11. Yes a shame Realtek does not provide a changelog. The same could be said about Asus BIOS releases aswell... They only write "Improved stability and performance" or something to that effect 😛
