OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit or more recent.
Hardware requirements (AMD) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME/ProArt motherboards with AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/8xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).
Hardware requirements (Intel) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME/ProArt motherboards with Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx/8xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).

Note : In order to know which drivers package to use, match the audio specifications of your motherboard with the apps or ask me.

TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

Hi,

You have an ASUS TUF DTS Custom motherboard, so :

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS TUF/PRIME DTS Custom MB) from the first post of this thread.

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

Whats the matter to install your mod drivers instead those of the download section of asus page?
i just dont get it. could someone answer me please 🙂 ty well

The drivers listed here are not modified, they are just newer (usually current from Realtek) than those listed on the official Asus downloads. If you have no issues with the Asus ones, you can update if you would like to these but depending on your motherboard it might not do anything other than being more up to date.

Does this mean we will have to refer to this thread for all future driver updates? ASUS won't post any newer working ones on their motherboard driver download page?

Hi,

I don't work for ASUS, you should ask them instead of asking me.

Hey MoKiChU, for the Maximus XIII Hero, is it the same Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3 MB) driver for the other Maximus line, or does this one have DTS? The product page doesn't mention DTS but I wanted to make sure with you.

Thanks for all that you do! I see your post on MyDigitalLife and TenForums and I don't know how you keep up with all of this lol.

Hi,

ASUS ROG Maximus XIII Hero is an ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound Intel Z590 motherboard, so :

You need Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS Intel MB) from the first post of this thread : [DRIVERS] Realtek Audio (MB | Intel Z590 & AMD TRX40)

Oh, excuse me. I thought you were a forum Rep since you have access to the drivers.
Where do you get the drivers from then? From Realtek? And then you repackage them for ASUS boards?

Edit: And thank you for your efforts !

Thanks for the fast response and keep up the great work!

hello guys i need some help, i thought i fixed it but i am back to zero again.

I have x570 gaming-e. installed latest audio drivers from asus site.
my biggest problem i have is that 5.1 audio does NOT work properly. I mean, come on do i ask that much from a $300 dollar motherboard?

the center channel and subwoofer sound comes from the front left and front right also. Is this 5.1 audio? jesus..
When i disable the sound effects from reltek console I (THINK) i get correct audio, but i can barely hear a thing! The sound is so low is almost non existent
..
in summary, when i test the 5.1 audio from windows, or from realtek console , specifically when i test the center speaker i can hear the sound playing from all 3 front speakers. When i test the subwoofer its the same.
the wires are connected correctly. ..

any ideas how to proceed, this is very annoying..
