OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit or more recent.
Hardware requirements (AMD) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME/ProArt motherboards with AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/8xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).
Hardware requirements (Intel) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME/ProArt motherboards with Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx/8xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).

Note : In order to know which drivers package to use, match the audio specifications of your motherboard with the apps or ask me.

TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

Which Audio Driver (Win 7) do i need for a ROG STRIX Z370-I GAMING Motherboard?

Hi

- Windows 7 support ended since few month now : https://support.microsoft.com/help/4057281/windows-7-support-ended-on-january-14-2020
- UAD drivers are not Windows 7 compatible.

So, you have 2 solutions :

- Either you update to Windows 10 (https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows10), and in this case :

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG/PRIME/TUF MB) from this thread. Follow scrupulously your INSTALL process with cleanup step, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow the UPDATE process.

Note (in order to choose correctly the install/update process to use) : You have a ASUS ROG SS3 motherboard.

- Either you stay on Windows 7 at your own risk, and in this case :

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (HDA - ASUS ROG/PRIME/TUF) from my HDA drivers thread.

Follow scrupulously the INSTALL process (with cleanup step) of ASUS ROG SS1/SS2 motherboards category but with these SS3/SR3 Legacy apps :

- Sonic Studio III Win32/Legacy v3.6.45.60920 : Link
- Sonic Radar III Win32/Legacy v3.6.45.60920 (Optional) : Link

The amplifier in Audio Control is missing

Hi,

You were lucky that the drivers used by your notebook are in the motherboards drivers package, but beware that you are using the wrong thread/drivers package.

You have an ASUS TUF DTS Headphone:X v1 notebook, so :

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS TUF DTS HPXv1 NB/DT) from the first post of this thread.

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

Hi MoKiChU,

I can't even say thank you enough! First off, for some reason it never occurred to me to look at the notebook thread because the TUF505DT was listed as a gaming laptop everywhere and I didn't even consider it a notebook. I'll follow that thread from now on. More importantly, however, your drivers worked amazingly! After a month of searching and being told there's no solution to the missing Realtek Audio Console options I was correct in thinking your drivers will help. DTS works fine (there was a quick DTS extension update from Windows' Update) AND I have all the Realtek options back. Clearly, something broke in the original drivers and yours fixed it. I did a few restarts to confirm since the Realtek Audio Console options would usually disappear on a restart.

Thanks again for fixing one of my biggest headaches in the past month!
