Hi MoKiChu,

This doesn't pertain to me as I always install the Chipset first before anything else, but I wanted to give some perspective as to why some people most likely install the Serial IO first before the Chipset.

I believe the issue comes from the Asus Official Website which most people would search through first which I found this: https://www.asus.com/us/support/faq/1044766/ , it lists the order to install the Serial IO first before the Chipset for whatever reason (even though it says 'notebook' most people would follow it for desktop as well and not question it).

yeah i fixed it by following your guide (thank you so much)
but i have another problem was goning to update my Bios but it recomended me to use the MEUpdatetool
I downloaded the MEUpdateTool and was going to run it but it says that Mei driver have to be installed so i looked in your guide yet again and saw the mei drivers for 5xx and installed it but The MEUpdatetTool still gives me the same error. What is the problem and how do i solve it?
is it that i need to install mei before intel serial IO?
Thank you/ Gert

this one

It's a firmware, you don't have to uninstall it and it can't be uninstalled anyway.

Since you seem to have already installed/updated your Intel MEI Drivers (if not, here are the latest : [DRIVERS] Intel Chipset/MEI/VMD (6xx/7xx)) :

- Update your Intel ME Firmware to the last : [FIRMWARE] Intel ME (H510/B560/H570/Z590).
- Update your BIOS to the last.

Note : We are off topic here, if you have additional questions about Intel ME Firmware & Intel MEI Drivers, ask them in the appropriate threads please.
