TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

Hi everyone,

I remind you that my field is the motherboards (DIY PC) and that all my threads are AIMed for ASUS motherboards only (hence the fact that my threads are in Downloads for Motherboards category) and not AIMed for ASUS notebooks/laptops/AiO or any other ASUS devices. So if you don't have ASUS motherboard please stop posting here.

Refer to your product support page to download/use the appropriate drivers for your product (if you have any issues with the drivers from your product support page, contact ASUS Support).

Hi everyone,

Intel I225/I226 Ethernet controllers users :

As reminder :

- If you are using Windows 10 : There is no choice to make, you must use Windows 10/NDIS Drivers (1.x.x.x).

- If you are using Windows 11 : I recommend that you try Windows 11/NetAdapterCx Drivers (2.x.x.x) type first and switch to Windows 10/NDIS Drivers (1.x.x.x) type only if you have an issue :

Windows 11/NetAdapterCx Drivers (2.x.x.x) : More efficient than NDIS drivers type because of more low level access to the controller than NDIS drivers type, but can generate side effects due to the non-support of NetAdapterCx by other apps or system addons features. If you encounter any issue with NetAdapterCx drivers type, switch to the NDIS drivers type.

Windows 10/NDIS Drivers (1.x.x.x) : NDIS drivers type is the legacy drivers type used for all other Intel Ethernet gigabit controllers drivers whether for Windows 10 drivers or Windows 11 drivers, this drivers type will give you better stability/compatibility.

Sorry if the question has been asked before - are i225 drivers included in the latest Windows 10 ISO? I installed the board yesterday and to my surprise it did not recognize the NIC. My test Windows 11 installation worked straight away though. Do I need to integrate the drivers to the ISO or they;re alreadyt there?
