Hardware requirements : Motherboards with Intel 6xx/7xx/8xx series chipsets.
TIPS :
If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).
If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

Hi,
False positive :
8xx : https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/ee0d39f4bf717c67535f409eb92ae23d7893b70c109536b64f4f0c609751e879
6xx/7xx : https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/a63999b216761db2b4941858a5bb44a467e70fec351ee7805db34c64bb469297
In parallel, I submitted the both drivers packages for malware analysis by Microsoft Security Intelligence (this should avoid the Windows Defender alert for both drivers packages in a few hours/days) : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/filesubmission
I can't do anything more on my side.

Hi MoKiChU,
Are the Intel VMD drivers compatible with both 10/11 gen Intel and 11/12/13 gen intel? I integrated VMD drivers in my IoT 24H2 image but it doesn't boot with them. It's a12th gen platform and I suspect the drivers are intended for 10/11 gen Intel.
I wonder if there are universal VMD drivers for 10th until 13th gen Intel?
To clarify, if I integrate the 11th-13th gen VMD drivers, will it still boot on 10th/11th gen Intel platform?
Cheers.

MoKiChU's released VMD drivers work fine on Win 11, Z690, 12900K. I did a fresh install 2 days ago. It was overdue. The only thing that confused me was that I couldn't find the VMD device, so I installed Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers first (from the support page). Then the VMD device appears and you can install MoKiChU's drivers if an update is needed. Thought I'd mention this as it caused me some delays/confusion. I'm also on 12th Gen which still works just great. OK, so my post isn't quite on point, but hopefully some people will find this useful.

Hi,
I remind you that :
- My field is the motherboards (DIY PC) and that all my threads are AIMed for ASUS motherboards only (hence the fact that my threads are in Downloads for Motherboards category) and not AIMed for ASUS notebooks/laptops/AiO.
- All my threads are indexed by series chipsets and not by CPU gen (except for NPU/iGPU Drivers which are CPU related).
- The targeted hardware is always indicated at the bottom of the drivers thread :
Hardware requirements : Motherboards with Intel 6xx/7xx/8xx series chipsets
When a drivers package is specific to only some series chipsets supported in the thread, it is indicated in the drivers package description. Example :
- Intel HID Drivers (Drivers Only) :
Drivers - 8xx
- Since this thread is for motherboards with Intel 6xx/7xx/8xx series chipsets (so for Intel Core 12xxx/13xxx/14xxx/2xx series CPU), and that the Intel VMD Drivers are only present in this thread and not present in the thread for motherboards with Intel 5xx series chipsets or older, you understand that Intel VMD Drivers are only for motherboards with Intel 6xx series chipsets or newer (so for Intel Core 12xxx series CPU or newer) and not for motherboards with Intel 5xx series chipsets or older (so for Intel Core 11xxx series CPU or older). Note that on the notebooks/laptops/AiO side, Intel VMD Drivers are supported since Intel Core 10xxx series CPU or more recent.
Coming back to your issue with your IoT, it is not related to the CPU gen but to the drivers branch : Intel VMD Drivers branch for notebooks/laptops/AiO with Intel Core 10xxx series CPU or newer are compatible with all the motherboards with Intel 6xx series chipsets or newer (so for Intel Core 12xxx series CPU or newer), but Intel VMD Drivers branch for motherboards with Intel 6xx series chipsets or newer (so for Intel Core 12xxx series CPU or newer) are not compatible with all the notebooks/laptops/AiO with Intel Core 10xxx series CPU or newer.
Note : If you want use the drivers contained in my drivers threads for ASUS notebooks/laptops/AiO, it is at your own risk, I will not provide you with any assistance/answer next time.

Hi,
You can still use the alternative install/update process in case of first install by right clicking on the drivers .inf (iaStorVD.inf).
- Windows 10 : Right click > Install > Wait for the message "The operation completed successfully" or for restart request.
- Windows 11 : Right click > Show more options > Install > Wait for the message "The operation completed successfully" or for restart request.
If nothing happens (no message "The operation completed successfully", no restart request), either the driver is not for your motherboard, or a newer driver is already installed (you can confirm this by going to your Driver Store Explorer, and if this is the case, you can delete the unsuitable/older driver via Driver Store Explorer).

OK, looks like MoKiChU reverted back as his original post mentioning the 9.0.11904.54113 WHQL [06/12/2024] version has now gone.
@MoKiChU can you confirm this please and also if there is any issue using the 9.0.11904.54113 version on Z890 as I had downloaded and installed prior to the post being removed?

Hi,
The Intel DTT Drivers (Drivers Only) v9.0.11904.54113 WHQL [06/12/2024] was pulled out quickly after being posted due to an compatibility issue that caused the Intel APO app to no longer work.
If you have downloaded/installed them before these are pulled out, follow this with the Intel DTT Drivers (Drivers Only) v9.0.11903.52187 WHQL [23/10/2024] from the first post of the thread :
CLEANUP
/!\ If you already had Intel Application Optimization installed /!\
Uninstall it (Start > Settings > Apps) then restart your PC
Launch Driver Store Explorer > Check the boxes of all versions of these drivers (if you find them) :
dtt_ext.inf | dtt_sw.inf | dttcfg_ext.inf | dttcfg_sw.inf | dttui_ext.inf | dttui_sw.inf
ipf_acpi.inf | ipf_cpu.inf | ipf_ef_ext.inf | ipf_ef_sw.inf | ipf_smbus.inf
Check the box "Force Deletion" then click on the "Delete Driver(s)" button
INSTALL
Launch "Install.cmd" by right-click Run as admin > Automatic restart when install is done
Go in "Apps" folder > Install your app from the Microsoft Store shortcuts
