Can i install this MEi on intel Rocket lake? And how it is different from those old versions which ASUS provides for my board? I've noticed that image looks better with newer drivers, but does it work properly overall?

Rcoket Lake is intel gen 11 correct ? , is the motherboards z590 ? , if this info is correct , then yes because this include x4 x5 and mine is x4 = z490 , intel 10900k , i only use bios update brom asus (mokishu dont do bios) , the drivers mokiche provide here are most new than my motherboard asus mazimus xii formula and all drivers i use from mokichu work to me 100%
now to your question yes you can use this one this driver MEI provide mokichu are much update compared with what asus provide on their website , and anyway is a driver you don't brike the mobo make sure follow the instruction (Launch "Install.cmd" by right-click Run as admin )

oh , i understand , don't install this driver pls because i'm no sure but i think is only for intel motherboards , and i dont know nothing about AMD , but mokichu on his perfil have aloot links about driver intel and AMD motherboard and by models and that include AMD mobos , idk if your motherboard include in their category
https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/hardware-build-advice/index-all-my-drivers-firmware-software-threads/m... here the link
maybe AMD motherboard don't have ICLS , again i dont know about AMD motherboards , so pls check all the link i post above
sorry for my bad english

Hi,
I determined your motherboard by browsing your old posts ... please avoid the treasure hunt and clearly announce the motherboard you have if you need help next time on the ROG forum.
You need these drivers/firmware for your ASUS TUF Gaming H570-Pro motherboard (you don't need Intel GNA & iGPU Drivers if you disabled/don't enabled them in your BIOS) :
[DRIVERS] Intel Chipset/MEI/SATA/Serial IO/GNA (1xx/2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx)
- Intel Chipset Drivers
- Intel MEI Drivers (Drivers Only)
- Intel SATA AHCI-RAID Drivers (Drivers Only) :
- Intel Serial IO Drivers (Drivers Only) :
- Intel GNA Drivers (Drivers Only) :
[DRIVERS] Realtek Ethernet/WiFi/Bluetooth
- Realtek Ethernet Drivers (Drivers Only) :
[DRIVERS] Realtek Audio (AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/8xx & Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx/8xx)
- Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS TUF/PRIME DTS Custom)
[DRIVERS] Intel iGPU (11xxx/12xxx/13xxx/14xxx/2xx CPU)
[FIRMWARE] Intel ME (H510/B560/H570/Z590)
You need these drivers/firmware for your ASUS ROG Strix B660-A Gaming WiFi D4 motherboard (you don't need Intel VMD, GNA, DTT & iGPU Drivers if you disabled/don't enabled them in your BIOS) :
[DRIVERS] Intel Chipset/MEI/VMD/Serial IO/GNA/DTT/HID/PMT (6xx/7xx/8xx)
- Intel Chipset Drivers
- Intel MEI Drivers (Drivers Only)
- Intel VMD Drivers (Drivers Only)
- Intel Serial IO Drivers (Drivers Only) :
- Intel GNA Drivers (Drivers Only)
- Intel DTT Drivers (Drivers Only)
[DRIVERS] Intel Ethernet/WiFi/Bluetooth
- Intel Ethernet Drivers (Drivers Only) :
- Intel WiFi Drivers (Drivers Only) :
- Intel Bluetooth Drivers (Drivers Only) :

ty for answer, yes tuf h570, but also b660 rog strix d4.
This ME is a strange thing, every version of it gives a bit different monitor image and sound and maybe slightly different overall performance.
Do i need to update your ME firmware on H570 for newer drivers? Or old one from asus can handle it? I've also heard somewhere that only alder lake 16+ me firmware can handle newer versions is it right?

I updated my previous post with the drivers/firmware for your ASUS ROG Strix B660-A Gaming WiFi D4 motherboard.

- Do you need the newer MEI drivers for the newer ME firmware ? Yes (newer MEI drivers to install before flashing the newer ME firmware).
- Do you need the newer ME firmware for the newer MEI drivers ? No (but recommended, since MEI drivers & ME firmware works in tandem).
- Do you need the newer ME firmware for the newer BIOS ? Yes (the minimal required Intel ME firmware is indicated in the BIOS changelog).
Also, in order to know if updating your Intel ME firmware is necessary or not from a security point of view, use this Intel tool from this thread : [TOOL] Intel ME Security Check (1xx/2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx/8xx).
However, as a reminder/warning, this thread is certainly for Intel 5xx series chipsets based motherboards, but not for its Intel ME firmware (it is only for its Intel Chipset and related drivers). Next time, please refer to the adequate Intel ME firmware thread for your motherboard listed in my previous post above.

Off topic (this thread is not for Alder Lake / Intel 6xx series chipsets based motherboards and even less for its Intel ME firmware). Refer to the adequate Intel ME thread listed for your motherboard in my previous post above.

Hi,
Drivers flagged (Drivers Only) can be uninstalled via Driver Store Explorer as indicated in the TIPS at the bottom of all my drivers threads :
TIPS :
If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).
If you need help figuring out which drivers to remove in Driver Store Explorer, PM me a full screenshot of your Driver Store Explorer.
However, I recommend you to clean install Windows if you are switching from Intel to AMD.
