TIPS :
If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).
If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

Thanks once again for the updates. I, for one, truly appreciate your help and vigilance! BTW, I have installed the Intel ME driver 2411.6.3.0 WHQL and the Chipset Driver 10.1.19900.8599 WHQL recently. I have the ASUS ROG Z490 Maximus XII Formula motherboard. My present BIOS version is 2801.
I was able to find and confirm that the 2411.6.3.0 ME Driver was installed when I checked in the Device Manager, here: Device Manager/Software Components/Intel ME WMI Provider Properties/Driver. However, I was unable to confirm the Chipset installation version through the Device Manager.
According to the dialog panel after I ran the chipset installer, it installed "Successfully". But every location in the Device Manager reported the same driver: 10.0.9041.1 including this location: Device Manager/Device Firmware/Driver. And under the tab "Firmware" of the same location, it reports Firmware Version "14808EF".
I'm guessing that I need to look for the Chipset Driver 10.1.19900.8599 version confirmation in the BIOS, not in the Device Manager.
Thanks again,
Rich

Hi,
- If you are looking for the package version number of the Intel Chipset Drivers you are using, you can simply see it via Settings > Applications : Intel(R) Chipset Device Software.
- If you are looking for the version number of the Intel Chipset Drivers you are using, use Driver Store Explorer and by looking in System devices category in the INF column for the .inf files contains system word from INTEL. You can see via the Device Name column which devices in the Device Manager use which drivers.
From Intel : Intel(R) Chipset Device Software uses an unusual date for the devices it is targeting. The date 07/18/1968 is symbolic - Intel was founded that day.
So if you have Intel Chipset Drivers which are not from this date, your Intel Chipset Drivers are not correctly installed because you have installed Intel Chipset Drivers from Windows Update - Optional updates. If so, follow this process to cleanup :

Thank you! I'll get on it ASAP!

Hello MoKiChU. Could you please make a package for Intel MEI drivers that contains lms.inf aka Intel(R) Management and Security Application Local Management? My Maximus XI Extreme (Z390) original MEI drivers seem to also install this, but it's old 2021. From Windows Update i usually get 2/21/2024 for it so there is something going on with this. I hope it's not too much to ask, i can't seem to find this thing in Device Manager...

Hi,
LMS SWC driver is no more imposed by MEI drivers for a long time now, if Windows Update tries to update a device that you do not/no longer have in your Device Manager, there must be an hidden device in your Device Manager, here's how to remove it :
- Press Windows key + X > "Device Manager" > "View" > Check "Show hidden devices" > "Sofware components" category.
- Uninstall "Intel(R) Management and Security Application Local Management" hidden devices by right-click "Uninstall device" (check the delete drivers box) then restart your PC.

Thanks for answering so fast. It only installs if i install the original MEI drivers or/and remove them afterwards so i was thinking there might be some specific platform configuration. Basically you are saying i don't need this anymore? Also you are correct it does show up as Hidden in Device Manager, thanks for that as well.
EDIT: I forgot to mention this "driver" also creates a service entry in msconfig that is set to "running" and has the same name.

As reminder the Intel MEI Drivers (Drivers Only) that I offer contains Intel MEI Driver and only the imposed DAL, ICLS & WMI SWC Drivers (If you don't install the imposed SWC Drivers, Windows Update will install them for you, with probably older versions, because the install order of these SWC Drivers is initied/imposed by Intel MEI Driver itself).
As indicated previously, LMS SWC driver was imposed by MEI drivers in 2021 release versions but it is no longer imposed by MEI drivers :
- Imposed Intel SWC Drivers in Intel MEI Drivers (Drivers Only) from 2021 :
DAL SoftwareComponent Driver : Software components > Intel(R) Dynamic Application Loader Host Interface
ICLS SoftwareComponent Driver : Software components > Intel(R) iCLS Client
LMS SoftwareComponent Driver : Software components > Intel(R) Management and Security Application Local Management
- Imposed Intel SWC Drivers in Intel MEI Drivers (Drivers Only) from 2022 to nowadays :
DAL SoftwareComponent Driver : Software components > Intel(R) Dynamic Application Loader Host Interface
ICLS SoftwareComponent Driver : Software components > Intel(R) iCLS Client
WMI SoftwareComponent Driver : Software components > Intel(R) Management Engine WMI Provider
To cleanup your Intel MEI Drivers :
- Uninstall Intel Management Engine Components from your apps installed if you have any (Start > Settings > Apps) then restart your PC.
- Launch Driver Store Explorer > Check the boxes of all versions of these drivers .inf (if you find them) : heci.inf | dal.inf | dal_wc.inf | iclsclient.inf | lms.inf | mesrl.inf | mewmiprov.inf | wiman.inf | wiman_wlan_extension.inf
- Check the box "Force Deletion" then click on the "Delete Driver(s)" button then restart your PC.
- Press Windows key + X > "Device Manager" > "View" > Check "Show hidden devices" > "Sofware components" category.
- Uninstall the "Intel(R) Management and Security Application Local Management" hidden device by right-click Uninstall device (if you find it) then restart your PC.
- Install the latest Intel MEI Drivers from the first post of this thread.
