Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI/AMT) Version 2137.15.0.2461 WHQL

That's actually an older MEI version than here if you would have read the description:

MEI: 05/11 / 2021,2120.100.0.1085
SOL: 10/14 / 2020,2042.0.13.0
DAL: 01/21 / 2021,1.41.2021.0121
ICLS: 07/14 / 2021,1.63.1155.0

I agree. If you look at Heci folder you will see.

It's not easy trying to get around with all the name changes and the version numbers. I can see how one can easily get confused.

Hi,

You can differentiate a driver version number from a software/package version number by the second field in the syntax :

2131.15.0.2461 : Software Version (15 being the branch of the Intel ME Firmware of the motherboard chipset targeted by the software)
2120.100.0.1085 : Driver Version

So please, do not mix the types/sources of drivers you use :

- 2137.15.0.2461 Drivers & Software Package contains Intel MEI Driver and all the imposed SWC drivers (DAL, ICLS & WMI) but also 2 SWC drivers & 1 Ext optional drivers and unnecessary for most consumer users (SOL & WIMAN Ext+SWC) :

MEI Driver : 2120.100.0.1085 WHQL [11/05/2021]

SoftwareComponent Drivers :

DAL SoftwareComponent Driver : 1.41.2021.121 WHQL [21/01/2021]
ICLS SoftwareComponent Driver : 1.63.1155.0 WHQL [14/07/2021]
WMI SoftwareComponent Driver : 2130.1.15.0 WHQL [22/07/2021]
SOL SoftwareComponent Driver : 2042.0.13.0 [14/10/2020]
WiMAN Extension Driver : 2129.62.62.0 [25/07/2021]
WiMAN SoftwareComponent Driver : 2129.62.62.0 [25/07/2021]

- 2124.100.0.1096 Drivers Package (Drivers Only) that I offer contains Intel MEI Driver and only the imposed DAL, ICLS & WMI SWC drivers (If you don't install the imposed SWC drivers, Windows Update will install them for you with older versions because the install order of these SWC drivers is initied/imposed by Intel MEI driver itself) :

MEI Driver : 2124.100.0.1096 WHQL [07/06/2021]

SoftwareComponent Drivers :

DAL SoftwareComponent Driver : 1.41.2021.121 WHQL [21/01/2021]
ICLS SoftwareComponent Driver : 1.63.1155.0 WHQL [14/07/2021]
WMI SoftwareComponent Driver : 2130.1.15.0 WHQL [22/07/2021]

So If you have used drivers packages from others types/sources than what I offer here and want to use my drivers packages, I advise you to do this :

- Uninstall Intel Management Engine Components from your apps installed (Start > Settings > Apps) then restart your PC
- Launch Driver Store Explorer > Check the boxes of all versions of these drivers .inf (if you find them) : heci.inf | dal.inf | dal_wc.inf | iclsclient.inf | lms.inf | mesrl.inf | mewmiprov.inf | wiman.inf | wiman_wlan_extension.inf
- Check the box "Force Deletion" then click on the "Delete Driver" button then restart your PC
- Download the Intel MEI drivers package from the first post of this thread
- Follow the Install/Update Process

- If you are already using the Intel MEI drivers package from my thread : You can update directly by following the Install/Update Process.

I don't see it. What are these drivers?

Hi,

You can find them in your Device Manager :

MEI Driver : System devices > Intel(R) Management Engine Interface #1

DAL SoftwareComponent Driver : Software components > Intel(R) Dynamic Application Loader Host Interface
ICLS SoftwareComponent Driver : Software components > Intel(R) iCLS Client
WMI SoftwareComponent Driver : Software components > Intel(R) Management Engine WMI Provider

This is exactly the type of post that helps users. Very well explained MoKiChU

"ICLS Driver : 1.63.1155.0" is not complete - there is no lib32 folder, but this folder is registered in the digital signature

Hi,

This is normal, I do not offer anything for 32 bit.

Hey everyone. Â*I amhaving a hard time understanding the drivers links here.

I was able to do the ME for my Z490-E and also the Ethernet Drivers but as far as the Chipset and other I’m unsure which one is actually my download. Can someone help me figure out the remaining drivers I need?

Thank you!Â*

Hi,

You need these firmware/drivers for your ASUS ROG Strix Z490-E Gaming motherboard :

[FIRMWARE] Intel ME (Z490)

[DRIVERS] Intel Chipset/MEI/SATA/VMD (1xx/2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx)

- Intel Chipset Drivers

- Intel MEI Drivers (Drivers Only)

- Intel SATA AHCI-RAID Drivers (Drivers Only) :

Drivers - 4xx/5xx

[DRIVERS] Intel Ethernet/WiFi/Bluetooth

- Intel Ethernet Drivers (Drivers Only) :

Drivers - I22x-V (2.5GbE)

- Intel WiFi Drivers (Drivers Only)

- Intel Bluetooth Drivers (Drivers Only)

[DRIVERS] Realtek Audio (MB | Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx & AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx)

You have an ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboard, so :

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS MB) from the first post of the thread.

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

Hello,

I am running the 10920x on the Rampage VI Extreme Encore. Is the X299 chipset add-on driver still needed? I see the package files seems to be named Skylake whereas I am on Cascade Lake.

Thanks

Hi,

The Skylake-X CPUs (7xxxX-XE/9xxxX-XE) and Cascade Lake-X CPUs (10xxxX-XE) are still based on the Skylake-E architecture, so yes, you need it.

Hi,

I have a couple questions. I have the ROG Maximus XII Hero WiFi 490 board running BIOS 2103 and on the ASUS Support page for it most of the driver versions are out of date compared to what you have posted here @MoKiChU. What is the reason for this and I assume it's not necessarily unsafe to use these updated versions versus the ones from my mobo support page right? I updated my drivers using your CLEANUP and then INSTALL process earlier in beginning of year and am trying to update as much as I can again.

Also, I don't have this device when I check Device Manager - "WMI SoftwareComponent Driver : Software components > Intel(R) Management Engine WMI Provider" so I'm wondering what will happen when I install the chipset drivers that include all of these things as these don't appear in Driver Store or anywhere for me:

WMI SoftwareComponent Driver : 2130.1.15.0 WHQL [22/07/2021]
SOL SoftwareComponent Driver : 2042.0.13.0 [14/10/2020]
WiMAN Extension Driver : 2129.62.62.0 [25/07/2021]
