Since a friend of mine talked me into building a pc instead of buying one off the shelf last year, I have become an OCD modding monster. It all started with an NZXT phantom case, AMD 950 cpu, gigabit mobo, gtx560, GSkill ram, 650w corsair power supply. 3 cpu's, 3 graphics cards, 6 mother boards, countless sticks of ram, 1 power supply, 6 cases, and way too many misc. stuff like fans, dvd roms, controllers, and such im still making plans on doing other tweaks to the computer.

The current version of my build has the asus maximus formula v motherboard, intel 3770k (4.6ghz), corsair dominator 2133 ram, evga gtx 690 graphics card, 2 480g san disk ssd's in raid 0, evga supernova 1500 psu, and all koolance water cooling. Though I have not done much actual modding, its all in a quest to learn more, and have fun. For an example of my on coming ocd this xspc case is nice it works and has lots of room...... its starting to irritate me it that all the wires for the pumps and cathodes are just hangin out. The case is also flimsy I can twist the whole case very easily. the hot swap bay will not fit in the bottom of the case like planned with the 360 rad. It seems as though it will never be done in that aspect. In regards to the case I cannot find the perfect case for me the ld v8 seems promising but pics onlie seem to lie.

If you want a tower that won't bend at the slightest touch, get a Corsair 900D 😛

Thanks Zka17 for the advice, I also looked at the 900d it just wasn't me... it didn't seem that I was getting much bang for my buck... I did how ever go through like mad the case labs site looking, staring for hours on end at all the cases they had. I ended up getting the magnum sth10. im very impressed with the case although im probably not going to take it to my local nerd fest lan party (too big) I also ousted that piece of crap koolance 452 res and 450s pumps my god they were loud. I now have x2 560 rads x1 360 rad x2 bitfenix 250 in line res and x2 alphacool d5 pumps. so far easy peasy no noise what I was kinda after in the long run. I still need to figure out where to hide all the wires I have to admit im not to good at that, and I was unable to put all my stuff back in the case mostly because of the size my sata cables were too short or they were just not needed.
